Chapter 1-Seek and you shall find

THIRD-PERSON POV

"What?! What do you mean by, 'they disappeared'?!" Serena and the others woke up one morning, only to be told by Nurse Joy that both Greninja and Ash disappeared. The group was exchanging glances at each other, each wondering if it was because of the battle... Nonetheless, they rushed out of the door and ran into the forest, looking for the both of them.

"Oh my, it's freezing." Serena let out a remark, rubbing her hands together to stay warm. "If I'm not wrong, it should be 5 degrees only!" Clemont said as he took out a device from his bag. It had their coordinates and the temperature...for some reason. They continued walking around the forest, not wanting to split up. Squishy, who was tired of this, checked the area for any shelters or caves by using the other cells' visions. When he finally spotted one, he jumped out of Bonnie's pochette and ran further into the forest. "SQUISHY!" was all Bonnie yelled before she broke into a sprint, following Squishy. "Wait!" Clemont yelled after her as he ran forwards with Serena running behind.

"Look! Squishy found a cave for us to rest in! Thanks Squishy!" Bonnie said as she pointed towards the cave she was talking about. Squishy gave us a happy look before jumping back into her pochette. We resided in the cave since there was a storm or blizzard of some sort. "I'm worried for Ash, he is the person I admire.....but seeing him act like this is really heartbreaking.." Serena said, her eyes swelling with tears as she looked down. "I know, I understand. I admire him too." Clemont replied to her, rubbing her back, hoping to provide some comfort. Good for him, Serena looked up, smiled and whispered a soft thank you to him since Bonnie fell asleep. Clemont smiled and whispered you're welcome to her before he sat down and dozed off. "I'm sorry for doing this, but please come out, Braixen!" Serena whispered as she threw out her pokeball, revealing a fox with two feet. She had a stick in her tail that was tied with a ribbon. "Braix!" She answered loyally to her trainer. "Do you see those sticks over there?" "Braix!" "Please pick them up and make a fire with them!" "Braix!"

After Serena gave the command to Braixen, it was completed in almost an instant. Serena stared at the bright, orange fire in front of her as she slowly dozed off..........
