"It's okay, Alexander," Sofia says, sitting on his bed comfortably, sighing as she talks to his boyfriend who is pacing back and forth in his bedroom. He rubs his chin and continuously runs a hand through his hair as thoughts fill his head.
Discomfort and subtle anger is what's within him, but she doesn't seem to see it.
"It's not fucking okay, Sofia. When will you understand that everything isn't always okay?" He bursts out, fuming. There's a hint of surprise in her eyes that quickly changes into annoyance.
"Your father is okay now. Calm down. I came here for you, stop treating me like shit!" She's now standing. She walked fast, extremely close to him, pointing her finger at him, seeming almost as angry as he is.
"Whatever," he says, not wanting to argue any longer. He tries to calm down and keep it cool, thinking about everything apart from what happened a few hours ago. Maya left even if she would have loved to stay, to help him and to talk to him.
She would have loved to be the one there to actually listen, for once. But all he wanted was to be alone. Words weren't necessary in that moment, or at least, that's what he thought.
Sofia lets out a breath as her hand reaches for his lower lip. "Come on," she almost whispers against his neck. "I know how to make you feel better."
Alexander closes his eyes as her lips touch on his. They go up to his cheeks and down to his neck. He doesn't really feel anything and maybe that's how it supposed to be. It's always like this, with Sofia.
She's good at luring people in, at creating desire in the eyes, at making him forget about things quickly. To make a man's mind go wild she thinks that a body is enough.
Just that.
As his hands grab her waist, they kiss. No spark. No nothing. Just a mere kiss that leaves him hungry, hoping for something more.
But the moment is interrupted by a knock on his door, which causes his eyes to instantly open and their lips to part. Sofia groans, rolling her eyes as Alicia enters the room.
"I hope I'm not interrupting anything," she begins to says but is immediately stopped by Sofia who is fixing her hair.
"You are actually, but whatever."
Alexander turns to her. "Hey, don't talk to her like that," he says, demanding.
She simply shrugs, looking away. Alicia gives her a death glare, but doesn't say anything back; she's used to her attitude. Alexander is used to it too. He knows about her character and how she can be difficult, at times. They've broken up multiple times, Alexander always being the one to break it off.
But she's always came back, begging him for another chance, telling him about how she would have got better. They've had a hard relationship and for some reason, they always end up together again. And it's always the same.
She says he loves him, and maybe he does too.
"I just wanted to know if Maya was still here, but I guess she isn't..." Alicia trails off, knowing exactly what she is doing. And of course, Sofia has questions.
"Who the heck is Maya?" she asks, her head turning quickly to Alexander. He sighs while he purses his lips and closes his eyes.
Just when he thought that they were over with the arguing.
"Yes, she is gone," Alexander says to Alicia.
"Oh, too bad. Tell her to come back soon!" That's the last thing she says before closing the door, leaving an infuriated Sofia and an exhausted Alexander behind her.
