The Wolf and The Sheep by Alec Benjamin

" Now their curse

Cursed together

And if you could see the look in her eyes

The wolf wore the sheep

As a perfect disguise "

The Forged Origins

When Adam and Eve started the human race,  Heaven and Hell worked together to create a world for these humans. The elements, seasons, times of day, the sun, the moon, and the stars were all put into human forms. The people were living in paradise as these humans were working for their benefit, and not the Gods.

Heaven and Hell worked together to form a group of nine individuals that would give the world evil and good, granting the Gods the hope of the people and the Devils reign on earth. Four individuals were made to be good and another four were made to be evil.

The good consisted of peace, purity, love, and an angel. The evil consisted of lust, fear, death, and a shadow. Each had incredible power of the people of earth, and used it to their advantage.

The person of lust could make the most pure of people fall into his trap and lose their virtue, while the purity could make the most corrupted pure once more.

The fear could take control of anyone's fear and make them go mad with fear, as the peace could stop the greatest of wars with a wave of the hand.

The angel could guide those into heaven or hell and also bring some back before entering the gates, as she also had control of angels both good and bad.

The shadow lived behind the purity, as it represented all the past struggles and darkness of one's life, and was his power was to remind the good of their evils and the evil of their true selves.

Death had the tongue of a snake as they could deceive any he pleased while also killing them with just a simple stare.

The man of love could make any he pleased fall in love with him or anyone he choose, but his curse was that he could only feel love for one woman.

The Woman of War.

The woman of war was forged by both hell and heaven, as both war could be good and evil. She has great good and powerful evil running through her veins, as she decides what side to fight for. She has a temper that made gods quake at her name, as her voice was a battle cry. Her screams could shatter the ear drums of her enemies and sound like the horns of victory to her allies. She is skilled with every weapon known to man, as she was stronger than any as well. She was the most powerful of all.

Each of the necessities had a symbol that represented their powers. Purity had a ball of light, as it shined brighter than the sun, and the light was meant her heart shined with a glowing good.

As peace was represented by a dove, as it was a relaxing creature that was a universal sign for peace.

A pair of golden wings and a devil tale represented her heavenly and demonic roots that lived inside her.

Love was imaged after the god of Eros, as his symbol was of a tiny cupid that would stand the test of time of being an image of romance.

Lust was represented as a siren, as the creature was an old tale that would send sailors into their deaths due to sexual desire.

War was represented by an eagle, that wings had the story of the Forged, as she was the beacon for both sides.

A hydra, based off the greek monster Scylla, represented fear as it was one of the most fear monsters of that time.

The opposite of purity, the shadow was a cloud of smoke that was given a pair of glowing red eyes, and was a symbol of its dark casting shadow that it brought over the world.

Death was represented by a venomous snake, as it held the devious and fatality that made up all of his power.

The forces of good and evil fought for centuries, but one battle that stood out from the rest was the battle of 1817 in a small town in the newly colonized area in Washington state. The towns people were happy and thriving until one day it all fell apart. The towns people were divided itself into two.

Wrong and Right.

People were using sex as a weapon, were being controlled by fear as it was spread rapidly, people would go missing faster than the speed of light, as many were dying with no explanation. That's when the heaven forged fought back, creating people of great good, taking people from heaven, peace was brought to those randomly fighting in the streets, as love was spreading faster than hate.

The forged of hell were growing angry towards the heaven forged, as their reigns were being overtaken. One day at the beginning of October, the nine were in a battle in the field of the town Cascade Creek. It was good against evil, a classic battle, that was taken to the next level. The angel found a sorceress named Selene, who was known amongst the gods of both Heaven and Hell as the most powerful sorceress of their time. The angel and shadow worked together to find the sorceress, as she told them she could end the war by simply stripping the nine necessities of their powers. The two complied as they were given a list of what she needed to break the spell.

From peace, she needed to hear his beating heart, as it was always beating for a cause.

From purity, she needed her a tear from her eye, as it was almost as pure as holy water.

From the angel, she needed a feather from her gold tipped wings, as it was symbol of her heavenly origins.

From love, she needed to see his heart breaking, as it was the only emotion he was capable.

From lust, she needed his sweat, as it was dripping in his power.

From fear, she needed her blood, while it represented the power that rain through her veins.

From the shadow, she needed a lock of his hair, as it was as dark as his soul.

From death, she needed his eyes, as it held his decieving abilities.

And finally from the warrior, she needed the echo of her war cry, as it represented everything that made her.

The two of them collected the items from each of their sides, having all except one. The day on the battlefield, the nine were together standing on their allied sides, Selene approached in the middle as she spoke her riddled spell. The groups gave each looks of confusion, as the woman of war approached Selene, and demanded to know what she was doing.

Selene looked her up and down and realized she was the missing piece to the puzzle. Breaking from her spell, she began to mumble a new spell in latin as the woman of war began to bloom. Her eyes grew black, as the veins under her eyes matched the color of her eyes, and she was shaking in rage. The woman of war had no control over herself as the only release was to scream.

With all the power she held, she let out the largest war cry of her life. Collapsing on the ground, the man of love rushed to her side. Selene looked over the nine necessities as she spoke "You have a lost your power. In this lifetime, your children's lifetime, and your grandchildren's lifetime, you will never get to experience your powers again. Until the last one of you is dead, the third generation of your family will become the necessities once more. They will be brought back to this spot, on this exact day, and will be better than any of you."

Selene left the once powerful, almost godly, necessities, to be defenseless and helpless humans.

Story tells that the third generation will be the most powerful anyone has ever seen, and will save their world by defeating the one that stands between them and their salvation.
