Sober by G-Eazy and Charlie Puth
" Why do people do things that be bad for 'em?
Say we done with these things, then we ask for 'em
When the sun comes down, then we transform
Yeah, you can probably bet this
By this time tomorrow, I'll probably regret this "

*Bella's POV*
As I made my way to my car, my hands began to shake as I felt my body shifting back into panic mode. My mouth was going dry while my vision was going blurry with tears as I unlocked my car. In a swift movement, I threw my bag in the back seat and put my keys in the ignition as I sped out of the parking lot.
Blowing past three stop signs, I went twenty over until I landed in my driveway when I didn't even wait for the car to slow down before putting it in park. Grabbing my things, I ran straight to my room as I left my bedroom door wide open. Rummaging through drawers, I found a lighter and a pack of cigarettes that I've been hiding for weeks.
My shaky hands could barely hold the cigarette long enough for it to light until I felt the burning tobacco hit my throat as my body was relaxing. As I took a long draw, I opened my window to the crisp, dewy air as I blew the smoke out into the drizzling rain. I felt my body relax against the sill while I took another long hit. My mind finally had a minute to think as it went to the dark corners that exist more the happy walls.
Why am I like this?
Why do I cause so much destruction?
What am I?
Why can't I stop this?
Why did I scare him?
Why did I try and hurt her?
Why am I a monster? Before my mind went too far, I smashed the filtered end of my cigarette on the white sill before flicking it onto the grass by the white picket fence surrounding my neighbors yard. As I stood up to move, I heard someone talk to me from outside "Wow, the pretty girl has an ugly habit?"
As I put my head outside the window, I saw a smirking Mal across the way. He was wearing a navy blue blazer and a red and blue tie, looking like he was from an english boarding school. I propped up on my elbows as I sassed "And the ugly boy has a pretty uniform?"
He smirked while his chest began to shake as he chuckled "Touché ... you alone, beautiful?"
"In more ways than one," I rolled my eyes while I started twiddling my thumbs.
"You look like you are in need of some entertainment," he kept his smirk as he looked behind him.
"What do you mean?" I questioned.
"I'll be over in fifteen seconds," he left as he shut his window.
Leaving my room, I head down towards the front door when seven seconds passed. Standing at the foot of the stairs, I looked at my non-existent watch as I spoke to the empty house while we were now at twelve seconds "Three ... Two ... One," when the doorbell went off.
Smirking, I went and opened the door as I leaned against the opened door "Right on time," as I saw Mal had his left hand in his pocket and a bottle of jack in the other. Furrowing my eyebrows, "Day drinking?"
"My favorite kind of drinking" he laughed as he strutted his way into my house and straight into the kitchen.
Following behind him, he went into a cabinet and grabbed two shot glasses I didn't know my mother owned as he set them down on the counter. I sat down at one of the bar stools as he slid a shot glass full of jack in my direction before he raised it to me "To loneliness."
