My Bad Luv by Blackbear
"Don't mess with me, I'm full of bad luck
Ain't ever gonna get you want you want
I'm only gonna fuck you up"

The air outside was cold yet humid as I walked from my little black car to the front door as I felt my Chuck Taylors catching on the wet ground and the slight wind through my ripped jeans. With my headphones in my ears, I was greeted by Cascade Creeks' infamous step-brothers, as Landon looked like steam was about to come out his ears and Ashton seemed unenthusiastic. Taking my headphone out, I smirked while commenting at Landon's angered appearance "Who pissed in your cheerios this morning?"
"Want to explain that fucking trick you pulled last night?" Landon screamed as all color left his face while I noticed his knuckles were turning white from such a tight clench.
"What trick?" my eyebrows furrowed as he tightly grabbed my wrist and viciously began to drag me.
My shoes wouldn't stick to the ground as I tried to stop him, as I slid while he dragged. Behind me I heard a deep chuckle before sending a glare over my shoulder to Ashton as I spit "Are you going to help me or just laugh at me like the jerkwad you are?"
He sent me a smirk as he spoke in amusement "Laughing because of the comment, princess."
"Asshole," I murmured as Landon opened a door to a vacant classroom on a side of the school I have yet to discover.
He threw my arm along with the rest of my body to stumble onto a dark oak desk that sat in the middle front of the classroom in front of a clean chalkboard. Snapping off the desk, feeling my adrenaline levels rising as I spoke through clenched teeth "That was uncalled for, asshole."
"Explain how you drove home last night, after almost two bottles of the strongest shit in that entire bar, like you were completely sober!" Landon screamed while looking back at Ashton for the support he seemed like he wasn't going to get.
"Oh," my mind was hit with realization as I sighed, putting all my weight on the desk while I avoided looking at the boys by looking at the fading sharpied heart on my left converse "I can explain that."
"Well, explain away, princess," spoke up Ashton for the first time in what felt like hours.
Lifting my left foot, I kicked the title floor as I raised my right hand to my head to rub my temple "It's about of my ... condition, I guess that's what you would call it. But basically, I can't get drunk or high and pills don't work for me," I shifted again as I grew uncomfortable thinking about those memories.
"When was I was about fourteen, I would sneak out and hang out with my older friends, and I mean like twenty one and older friends. They would sneak me into bars and clubs, and I would take everything. Any drink, any pill, and even any drug that was offered my way. None of it gave me a high. None of it making me overdose. My condition makes me sober."
The room stayed silent as I focused on the sharpied heart, as I tried to remember how it got there. The more I stared, the more I remembered as it happened while I was one of the many hospitals last year. One of the really psycho girls, I remember I heard she tried to kill her boyfriend with a screwdriver and rubber duck, was doped up on anti-depressants and she was coloring on everything. She came up and drew a heart on my shoe while I was reading one of the church-approved books, and once she was done I kicked her in the jaw.
That was the best memory of that hellhole.
Finally someone spoke up, as I heard Ashton's voice riddled with concern and interest "What else?"
