One of the best things that could happen was really having the teacher missing school. Wonwoo didn't want to go with his classmates so he went to meet with Seungcheol at the local coffee place.
When he got there and looked around for the guy, found him sitting in a corner writing down in a notebook.
"Seungcheol hyung...hey..."
"Oh, hey, Wonwoo! Sit down please."
He threw the school bag to the floor and sat in front of him. Wonwoo didn't want to bother Seungcheol so he just stayed there with his arms crossed on top of the table. Soon, the boy put everything to the side.
"So, Wonwoo."
"Yeah?"
"I wanted to apologize for the other night..."
The guy shrugged. "It's fine, hyung. Junhui took care of me."
When he heard that, Seungcheol's eyes widened. "Junhui? Did... you know... did you sleep with him? Or did he want to...?"
"Not really... Not it that way. I just slept on his bed." Wonwoo found the question odd and raised an eyebrow since he was dating a girl and never showed any interest in men. "Why do you ask?"
"Listen, I love Junhui, he's such a good friend, he's probably the nicest person you can meet." Seungcheol was almost whispering. "But he had some issues a while ago...I was just checking if he was back at it..."
"Ah..." Wonwoo wasn't understanding very well, scratching the back of his head. "So, you're saying that he's gay? Because I'm ok with that, you know it."
"That too but what I mean is..." The guy was very hesitant. After a deep breath, he leaned on the table, closer to Wonwoo and explained. "I don't want to be talking about his life like this but I think you should know. A while ago he was quite... hopeless, you know. He's a very lonely and very rich person. He's also sensitive. I remember he would sleep with someone new every night and drink a lot. We know each other ever since he came to Korea and at that time I became really worried. He has stopped now."
"Wow, really?" He was truly impressed to hear that. Junhui seemed to have his life figured out. He seemed to have everything to be happy. "But why was he like that? He could easily get somebody."
"He wasn't very happy with his life and still isn't. You see, both Junhui and Jeonghan are heirs of CEO's and have this kind of future projected for them already. It sucks. I mean, Jeonghan doesn't seem to worry but Junhui... he grew up being told that he didn't need to make choices, he had people doing them for him. He ended up not always getting what he wanted, except coming here." Seungcheol stopped and sighed. The other guy pursed his lips.
"I'm going to meet with him today. He wanted to hang out. I think he's a cool guy."
"He is. He needs more friends so I think it's nice that you two develop some kind of friendship." Seungcheol smiled. "How are things with Soomin, though?"
The boy sighed. Because of past events, Seungcheol kind of hated Soomin. It was hard to talk about her because even though she made mistakes, Wonwoo loved and easily forgave her but Seungcheol hated the girl a lot. For the simple reason that he didn't like to see his friend hurt. The funny thing was that Jeonghan saw no bad in her and said he was lucky to have such a girl.
"We're good, last weekend when I got home we spent a good time shopping for... seeds and...vases..." Wonwoo smiled softly. "It was really nice. We were planning to plant them this weekend."
"Hmmm..." The guy stared at him with pursed lips. "I'll pretend I believe."
"It's true, hyung!"
"Does she keep ignoring you?"
She did, she barely paid any attention to Wonwoo now. It hurt but the guy couldn't stop loving her. He wasn't sure why.
"She doesn't, she's just busy-"
"Wonwoo. Enough." Seungcheol seriously stared at him. "You should try to talk to her and if you don't, I will. If she doesn't change, drop her. Forget her."
"But..." This convo was starting to make Wonwoo sad. "I really love her. I can't explain why but... I do..."
His friend started to calmly put his things in his bag and stood up. "Wonwoo, I've warned you."
Wonwoo didn't even see his friend leave the coffee place's door, he just buried his face in his arms before heading to classes.
As soon as he finished lunch after classes, he walked home just to prepare himself a bit better to hang out with Junhui. Comparing his clothing to Junhui's was painful, the guy was so fashionable and he was so basic. Trying to ignore how basic it was, he chose a white t-shirt and some jeans. His contact lenses were bugging him so Wonwoo decided the round glasses would be a nice touch to top all of that.
In the bathroom, he put some cologne and fixed his hair. Making sure he was good enough he left home, texting Junhui.
