Chapter 5: Serious

'Endean!' Lyra opened the toilet cell and fell into his arms.

'It's okay I'm here, I will always be here, what's wrong?'

'How did you know I was in here?'

'I knew something was wrong Ly. Girls always cry in bathroom's stalls. How bout we ditch school for a bit and go back to my place to talk'

'Good idea'

Endean put his head against Lyra's, put his arms around her hips and said as they looked into each other's eyes. 'I love you'

'You too' Lyra replied then kissed him.

They got in the car and Lyra realised she had wet mascara lines running down her checks. Endean reached to the boot and grabbed a tissue to whip down her face. On the way, Endean was singing every song that came on the radio 'I like to move it move it' Lyra changed the channel 'Too hot! Hot damn' Again 'AND I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU!!!' Even though Endean was way out of tune she left it on. When they got to Endean's house, Lyra heard the dogs barking and melted 'I'm home'

'What?'

'What? I didn't say anything' Lyra acted oblivious

Endean helped her up the stairs to the front of his house. 'We have the house to ourselves, so we can talk freely about our problems and maybe do some other things' Endean winked

'Not in the mood today'

'Dammit'

As they went through the doors and into Endean's house, Evie-Endean's puppy ran out the door and jumped onto Lyra's legs so she bent down and picked her up. They walked inside and Lyra sat down on the couch exactly where she was a few mornings ago, but this time with Evie jumping all over her.

'She loves you' Endean stared at them 'Anyway, what's wrong?'

'Can't we talk about something else?'

'No, I'm not meant to be taking you out of school'

'fine' Lyra sighed with a touch of anger

'What's up?'

'Ugh' she rolled her eyes. 'I had a dream'

'Oh wet dreams! That's normal in g..guys...You're a boy? I'm gay?'

'Yes, It has been this way all along...Endean be serious!'

'Okay sorry babe, what was the dream about? Ghost, werewolves, demons, llamas?'

'Endean, when you're ready to talk to me like an adult I will answer!'

'Okay...Okay' Lyra looked up waiting for him to talk maturely 'Adults are the big ones, right?'

'Arggghhh'

'Why are you getting mad? I have been asking all day what is wrong and you have kept it from me! If anything, I should be the one losing patience.' Endean started playing with Evie and her toy

'Fine...lose patience, I don't care' Lyra firmly stood up and barged out the door, slamming it behind her and started walking.

I can't believe he would yell at me like that! What the heck! Should I have done that? Or not? I'm talking to my self...The first sign of madness...Endean is making me mad! What if Endean breaks up with me? I think I made it clear we should break up! No! I love Endean! What have I done! I'm going to skype him.

Once she walked home, Lyra got on skype to see, he had messaged her:

Endean: Babe, I'm sorry. I know I can be a dick

Lyra: It's okay. I'm sorry

Endean: I'm glad were better now :)  I can't cope when we're fighting  :( 

Lyra: Same

Endean: Wanna come over, we could go to a party or something?

Lyra: Okay x
