Chapter 7: Party

After Lyra's first class she headed off to lunch where she sat with Fern, Mary and Daisy.

'Girl, what happened with you and Endean?' Fern started

'I don't know. Apparently I did something'

'You guys were okay at the party last night' She continued

'Party?'

'Yea! The Halloween party! Wasn't it fun? We all went a bit hard on the drinks' Fern chuckled

'I didn't go to the party, sorry'

'Yea you did'

'I was at Endean's house last night'

'No...you weren't' All the girls started laughing 'It's like you've been drugged, lol'

'I don't remember a party!' Lyra blurted out. Fern, Mary and Daisy got out there phones and showed Lyra pictures of the party. There was a selfie of her and the girls with party outfits on, Lyra could see she has dressed up as cat women. Another photo was of her and Endean, Lyra bitting Endean's lip.

'Endean was there?'

'Yea. You both came. Didn't you love his outfit?'

'What was it?'

'He has a stick through his chest' Fern continued scrolling through photos when Lyra saw one of Daisy and Fern in the pool and in the background Endean, drinking with Mia.

'Why is Endean drinking with Mia?'

'I don't know. He was hanging out with you for like an hour at the start then you disappeared for like 10 minutes, he said he had to pee then he came out mad and started smashing glasses and stuff, then Mia calmed him down and started hanging out with him. Now apparently there dating' Fern rolled her eyes.

'What? Please tell me this is a prank'

'Not a prank girl'

'What?'

'Oh girls! Emmet, hot or not?'

'Hmmm...I'm saying no' Mary answered

'No way, he is hotter than ever' Daisy butted in

'Yea sorry Mary I agree with Daisy here' Fern said

'What are you guys talking about?' Lyra interrupted there fun

'The party'

'What did I do at the party?'

'I don't know you bloody disappeared for half of it!' Fern snapped

'Okay sorry' Lyra got up 'Guys I'm going to the library talk to you later' Lyra wasn't actually going to the library, she was going to talk to Emmet.

'Bye lovely' Fern waved

Lyra waved and walked to the tables where Endean and the guys hang out at lunch, but Emmet wasn't there. Lyra walked over to where Endean, Xavier and Blake trying not to focus in on Mia hand in hand with Endean.

'Have you seen Emmet?' She butted into their conversations

They all ignored her except for Xavier 'He's doesn't hang here anymore'

'Why?'

'She really is oblivious' Xavier looked at Endean

'mm' Endean added, not making any eye contact what-so-ever with Lyra

'What do you mean that I'm oblivious? To what?'

'Why don't you ask your little friend Emmet, hey?' Xavier stated

'Emmet isn't involved in this!'

'Right' Xavier frowned. Lyra started roaming the school when she saw Emmet laid under the mango tree reading.

'Excuse me' Lyra butted in with her arms crossed in front of her

'Well hello, this is a surprise' He looked up at her then back down to his book 'Great play, recommended' He held up his book

'Hey, Um a little birdy told me, I was at a party last night'

'Yes you were' Emmet patted the soil next to him so Lyra came and sat next to him.

'Could you tell me what happened at party?'

'You don't remember?'

'Oh yea I know the whole story, that's why I'm asking the question' Lyra rolled her eyes sarcastically.

'Oh right sorry' Emmet snapped his fingers and the bell rang. 'I shall tell you on the ride home'

'Okay' I guess I just agreed on riding home with him....ek.
