After another two weeks of fully skipping school and ignoring all notifications from her phone, Lyra decided to check her text messages.
Fern: Babe, where have you been?
Fern: Girly Poo! Where are you?
Fern: Lyra. Seriously...your scaring me and the girls now
Fern: Are you still sad about the breakup?
Fern: Girl?
Fern: If it makes you feel better he is back at school now. Still with Mia but who cares.

Xavier: He is better. Back and school now. If you wanted to know
The last text message, Lyra didn't want to check.
Mia: If you send my boyfriend to hospital again, I won't just beat you up like before.
Mia sent a video
The video was of Lyra getting kicked repeatedly in the ribs. This angered Lyra and although she didn't have the energy to get up and beat someone up, she thought she would go to school and confront Mia.

The next day, Lyra got up early, had a shower and woke her mum up to drive her to school.
'Did you eat breakfast this morning?'
'Yes' Lyra lied. She just didn't have an appetite. Once at school, Lyra got out of the car and started walking through the school gates and to where she predicted Mia would be-with Endean. Lyra started to get a strange feeling that someone was following her, she turned around and noticed she was eye to eye with Emmet.
'Hi Princess' Lyra walked faster and faster to try and get away from him. She passed Endean's table and Endean made eye contact with her, he didn't smile. Lyra then felt a hand slap her butt, she turned around to see Emmet still following her
'Nice butt sweetheart' He slapped it again. Lyra turned around
'Stop touching me' She glared at him
'If you don't like that then you're not gonna like what happens next, honey' he reached forward to touch her butt again but instead grabbed her hand and started trying to drag her towards the school gates
'Don't touch me!' Lyra screamed
'LET HER GO!' Endean screamed and started running towards them. Lyra had never seen Endean run this fast in his life, he was like a dog chasing a ball. Emmet was trying to move quicker but in what seemed like a flash of lighting Endean grabbed Lyra's hand and pulled her out of Emmet's arms.
'YOU DON'T EVER TOUCH HER!' Endean yelled alarming everyone around him that there was a fight. As they all started surrounding them, they started yelling 'Fight, Fight, Fight' Endean was so mad that he was sweating in the middle of winter.
