I got out of the car quick. 1 minute. Hoping that there would be no one on the field yet, I walked quickly. Savannah pointed me out to Talia. Those first seconds in school earned me a whole bunch of stares. I stopped to chat for a bit, but realising that school would start soon I rushed to drop off my bags. On my way up, our P.E. Teacher Mr. Wood came over to me and asked me what happened. "Oh my! You poor thing, what happened?" he asked. I replied with simply, "I fell off a horse," he answered, "Get well soon."
The bell rang as I climbed up the stairs to the main hallway. Going as fast as I could with a broken arm, I reached the bleachers of the field just as the register started. Ameda looked at me and tilted her head. I smiled. Then the P.E. lesson started and I sat there and watched all of my P.E. class practice catching. That's how it went. Later on it progressed to real games of rounders, but for now we were focusing on the fielding aspect.
