A few days later

Rei is walking home from school with Ran.

"Oi, Mouri,"Rei called.

"What?" Ran replied.

"Do you have any plans for today?" Rei asked.

"No, why?" Ran asked back.

"Could i go to your place today?" Rei asked again.

"Why do you want to go to my place all of the sudden?"Ran asked back, confused.

"I just collected a criminal data the whole night, i need to refresh myself somehow" Rei answered, scratching her head, 'Plus, i need to find a way to escape from writing another report' She added in her mind.

"Sure!" Ran said smiling, "Do you bring some clothes? You don't want to stay in this uniform forever, right?"

Rei nodded. "Then let's go!" Ran exclaimed, "A-ano, Rei-san, c-could i call you Rei-chan?"Ran asked nervously.

"Well, sure why not"Was all Rei's reply.

At Ran's house

"Here we are!" Ran said as they entered the house, "Tadaima otousan"

"Okaeri... Oi Ran, who is that?" Kogoro asked.

"She is Fujimara Reika, I've told you about her otousan"Ran answered.

"Nice to meet you, Mouri-no-otchan" Rei said smiling.

"Come on Rei-san, let's get change"Ran said.

After they changed their clothes, the door bell rang.

"Eh? I thought you don't have a plan today" Rei said, confused.

"I don't, maybe it's one of otousan's clients"Ran said as she opened the door to reveal a highschool girl with ponytail and a dark-skinned boy with a cap.

"Kazuha-chan, Hattori-kun!" Ran exclaimed.

"Hello" They both said.

"Eh? Who is that boy?" The dark-skinned boy asked pointing at Rei.

"Fujimara Reika" Rei said, "You could just call me Rei, like everyone else." She paused, "And for your information," An innocent smile appeared in her face as she walked towards the dark-skinned boy, "I'M A GIRL YOU IDIOT" And the next second the boy is already on the ground.

"OW, THAT HURTS, YA KNOW!!!" the boy shouted.

"Of course i know it"Rei said, still with the innocent smile on her face.

"Oi, you little..." He started to speak but was cutted off by the girl.

"HEIJI!!"She scolded, " I'm sorry for his attitude, I'm Toyama Kazuha by the way" She paused, "And that" She pointed to the boy, who is standing up, "Is Hattori Heiji"

"You guys speak Kansai-ben?" Rei asked.

"Yes, we're from Osaka" Kazuha said.

"What brings you here?" Ran asked.

"We'll tell you once that boy's here, then we'll go out to eat"Heiji said.

"Then I'll just go home, i don't want to interrupt you guys" Rei said.

"It's okay to stay a bit longer Rei-san" Ran said.

"Yeah, i also want to know more about Ran-chan's friend" Kazuha said.

"Okay then"

Then the girls started chatting, leaving poor Heiji behind, well more like Kazuha and Ran talked and asking questions to Rei, and Rei just stood there listening (more and less) and answering their questions(99% nod, 5% answer).

A few minutes later

The door opened, revealing Conan with a happy face,"Tadaima"

"Okaeri" Ran, Kazuha, and Heiji said in unison.

"Eh?" Conan looked shocked by their visit.

"Now we're set,the kid's back" Heiji said.

"Finally, we can eat in a little bit" Kogoro said.

"Where should we go?" Kazuha asked Ran, meanwhile Heiji asked Conan, "What do you want to eat? Sushi, Chinese, or..."

"Pass" Conan said with a bored expression.

"Pass...? Pasta? You want to eat that?"Heiji asked again.

"Yeah there is a pasta shop that's open in Haido"Ran said.

"That's great!" Kazuha exclaimed.

"Haido isn't that far..." Kogoro said, considering the idea.

"Alright! Let's go!" Heiji said.

"But i only want to go if this neechan come with us" Conan said, pointing at Rei.

"Yeah, yeah, Rei-chan could go with us" Ran exclaimed, "You guys don't mind right?"She asked Kazuha and Heiji.

"Yup" Kazuha said.

"Well... even if i say i mind, you guys will ignore me, right?" Heiji grumbled.

"Okay then, let's go!" Kogoro said. They got in to the car Kogoro rented, Heiji and Conan sit on the front, while Ran, Kazuha, and Rei sit on the back.

Fifteen minutes later

"Man, what's with this traffic? I'm hungry already"Kogoro complained.

They're stuck in the middle of a traffic jam.

"Oi, otchan, how long will we stay in this traffic?"Heiji asked dully.

"How should i know?"Kogoro almost shouted in frustration.

"I can get us out from this traffic" Rei stated calmly.

"What are you talking about,? You're just a high school girl!"Kogoro yelled at her.

"Let's just say, I'm not a normal high school girl"Rei smirked, "Let me drive, otchan"

"No way, you don't even have a license for driving a car"Kogoro said again.

"Don't worry, I have an international license" Rei said.

"Okay, but if you don't get us out in 10 minutes, I'll drive again" Kogoro said.

"Ku ku ku"She laughed, " Don't worrry, it won't take more than 3 minutes." Rei promised as they swapped seats.
