Fall Driving Reader X Sam

Leafs were falling off the trees, the air smelled like pumpkin, flowers beginning to die. You smile and look out your window, October being my favourite month. "Morning sunshine, what's got you all smiley and up before noon?" Dean asks from the door of your room. You turn to see him holding two cups from Starbucks. "Did you get me?" He smiles "Yes I did pumpkin." You laugh. "Did you just call me pumpkin because you got me pumpkin coffee?" He nods his head. "I love you." You say and get out of bed, holding your blanket around you like a cape. "You wore shorts and a... star wars sports bra to bed without Sam in here?" You laugh and grab your coffee. "Fuck off." Dean rolls his eyes. "By the way, Sam wanted to take you for a drive today, so get dressed." With that, Dean turned and walked out of the room.

You take a sip from my coffee and then put it on your desk. Going through your closet you find a normal black bra and quickly throw it on. Searching for a few more minuets until you find black skinny jeans, black loose  tank top and a black and red flannel that has a hood on it. You quickly change into it and then grab a black skull infinity scarf and navy blue socks. Grabbing your coffee and phone you head out into the main room.

"Morning Y/N." Your boyfriend Sam says as he looks up from his computer. You pull out a chair and sit next to him, putting your free arm around his shoulders to give him a side hug. He kisses the top of your head and you blush, moving your arm and leaning your head against his shoulder. Reading an article about a new pumpkin patch where kids have gone missing. "We hunting today?" you ask and Sam laughs. "Not us, Dean is with Cas. We have the day off darling." He shuts his computer off and you get up the same time Sam does. "We are going on a drive, if they need us they will call." You smile and go up the stairs of the bunker, slipping on a pair of black studded combat boots. "I'll bring the truck around, were taking the red 1984 Chevy Silverado." You nod your head and wait with the door open. Moments later Sam pulled up and you hopped in the passengers side.

You plug your phone into the aux cord and Shine On You Crazy Diamond by Pink Floyd began to play. Sam looked over at you and smiled. You put your coffee in the cup holder and rolled down the window. Putting Your feet on the dash board you look out the window as Sam drove away from the bunker. All You could see was rows and rows of orange trees and a bright blue sky. A small chill in the air, you rested my arm on the window and felt the wind against your hand, the pressure of the wind pushing against it. The trees dancing left and right, the colours blurring together. You couldn't help the smile that came to your face, things finally were beginning to seem perfect. Sam grabbed your free hand and held it as he drove. His hand keeping yours warm, as your hands are almost always cold. You grab your coffee and take a few sips from it.

You look over to see Sam's hair blowing in the wind, his eyes glimmering in the light from the sun. A smile on his face, small dimples just showing themselves. "I love you." You say and put your coffee back down, grabbing his hand carefully and holding it. "I love you too darlin." He rubs his thumb over your knuckles, his calloused fingers feel rough but bring a sense of comfort and warmth. Next to his side, this is my home.

Sam pulled into a parking spot by a beach and turned off the car. We watched as the waves crashed against the shore. The water having a blue shimmer to it. "Thank you." You say and Sam kisses your forehead. "I just wanted a day to ourselves, a day without chaos. Next to you I find myself at peace, I love you." Blush crept onto your face. "I love you too Sam, forever and always my heart will belong to you. Thank you for today." You lean my head against his shoulder and together you watch the waves crash onto the shore while listening to Pink Floyd.
