A/N: since I haven't updated in so long, I thought I'd update with a longer chapter than usual. I'm sorry for not posting earlier, but school has been crazy and I've been sick too. I'm going to try to update more often from now on. xx

For your information, we didn’t miss anything important. They were only checking the sounding when we got in.

The crowd was now entering and the nerves took over. I couldn’t stand still, even though I wasn’t the first one getting up on the stage, or even the second. Perrie came up too me and put an arm around my waist.

“You’ll do great! I’ve heard you sing myself, and you are amazing! No need to worry!” She gave me a reassuring smile before she retreated to her group. I stayed at the end of the scene in a spot where I could see the crowd but the crowd couldn’t see me. A girl and a boy maybe two years older than me got on stage to open the show and to introduce the first performer, who happened to be a boy I’ve never seen before. At least I didn’t think I had. He was really good though, but that only made my nerves grow. If everyone was going to be this good, I’m going to look so bad.

The band I met outside got up and they performed a new song called She looks so perfect, and I have to give them a lot of credit for the song. It was really good and I think you can say the crowd thought so too according to the standing ovations the band got. Next up was Perrie and the girls, then my turn. Oh god, I couldn’t do this, what was I thinking? I reached for my phone with shaky hands and tapped out a text to Zayn.

Zayn, I can’t do this. Fuck. What am I doin here anyway? I need to go, like now

The answer came rather quickly seeing as his girlfriend was performing right now.

Babe calm down, you can do this, I know you can. We belive in you, not just me, all of us do. Take a deep breath.

No, I can’t. Im not ready. I need to go.

My phone started vibrating in my hand, but it wasn’t just the short vibration as in receiving a text. Someone was calling me. I checked the caller I.D hoping it wasn’t Zayn, he should be sitting there enjoying his girlfriends singing. Harry? Why is Harry calling me?

“H-hello?” I said sounding more nervous than I would’ve liked.

“Hi love,” his calm voice streamed through the phone soothing my nerves in an instant. “Are you okay?”

“Uhm… No?” I said in a weak voice.

“Breath. You’ll do great!”

“But, why are you calling me? No offence. Aren’t you disturbing the others by calling?” I asked with my brows furrowed.

“Zayn told me you were nervous so I left to call you. Don’t worry, I’ll get back in in time for your performance.” I culd almost hear the smirk on his face.

“You’re not making it any easier right now,” I said while leaning against a wall.

“You are going to do great. I promise, everyone will love you-“

“How do you know?” I interrupted. “You’ve never heard me sing?”

“No, but I can tell. Plus, I’ve heard your friends talk about you. Apparently you’re supposed to be really good,” Harry stated.

“And now you and everyone else has their hopes up and I’m just going to disappoint you all,” I sighed.

“No won’t. Then there’s the party, and you can get drunk and just relax. If someone says something bad, wich they won’t, you won’t remember it cause of the alcohol,” Harry chuckled.
