Dale just returned from getting Tyler from the hospital and they said we could use the plan. We grab the list of everyone that works for the circuit and go around giving people their special passes. It takes a few hours, but we get it done and we find out there is only one guy that isn't supposed to be there. The police question him, ID him, run his DNA through the system with his finger prints and allow him on site after they are done. We can honestly say that this is the most security that we have ever had at an event. Part of me hopes that he somehow gets to me, so I can take a swing or two at him. He is the reason I lost my dad, he is the reason why my relationship with my mother was destroyed and he is the reason that everyone I know and love are in danger. I hope he doesn't go after Tucker or my mom instead. If Tucker gets a hold of him, he will never make it to trial. He won't be breathing when Tucker gets a hold of him.
Dale, Tyler, Dan, Jim, and I meet back at headquarters and relax a bit. We are there for five minutes before we find someone threw a monkey wrench in out plan. The guards that were supposed to be guarding me tonight can't come because of a police related emergency. So there goes part of our security. A few guards guarding the entrance that we haul gear in and out of we found passed out on the ground. The night hasn't even begun and the plan is already failing. We still have the guards on the outside watching for someone leaving, but I have a feeling that the threat is already in the perimeter.
All 5 of us are armed with equipment and the police station was kind enough to lend us some bullet proof vests. I'm glad about that because the police were missing all their weapons including handcuffs and pepper spray. By now, someone has made the mistake of telling Tucker about the breach in security, and he is now on his way here with my mom and stepdad in tow.
"Violet, are you okay?"
"How could he know about our plan. We had everything air tight. When creating it, we passed a coded note across a table. Only we knew the code. When talking to the police, we talked in a room that was sound proof with only the chief, the five of us, and Tucker present. When passing out the special passes, we said they were just new IDs because we had gotten a new system. The paper we carried only had names of riders and staff. When the fence was put up, it was after we added it to our routine officially. No one has breathed a word about it. I know Tucker has called with information, but the plan was never mentioned."
"Violet, you are over thinking this. They did a head count, all personnel was at the ring. There is just us around here. If there is any one that seems out of place or strange, they are put through a full identification search. No one, but Tucker, your mom, your step dad, Dan, Jim, Tyler and myself will lay a finger on you."
"If my step dad touches me, I will know something is up."
"Why do you say that," Dale asks.
"He has never laid a finger on me since he married my mom. That was because of wedding pictures."
"At least we know one thing to look out for then," dale sighs.
"Wait doesn't he like you," Jim questions.
"Not really, he just tolerates me because I'm the daughter of the woman he loves. I don't like him either, so it's a mutual hatred."
"That's entertaining."
"Yeah, it's even better when we are forced to take a picture together," I say before yawning.
"Don't tell me you're tired. Vi it's not even close to being ready for tonight," Dan teases looking me in my half closed eyes. Tyler get up taking his jacket off and drapes it on top of me before lifting me up and putting me on his lap.
"Sweet dreams Violet," is the last thing I hear before falling asleep.

I wake up and my wrists are restrained. I get up using my legs and elbows. Once I'm standing, I look around to see that I'm in a supply truck. If there is anything I know about a supply truck, it's that a person can suffocate in one. I kick the door and yell hey but there is no answer. It's hot in the truck making it worse. I pat my legs and find that I still have my phone. I check the battery and signal before I do anything. I have enough battery and a little signal to call for help. The phone rings and Tucker answers on the second ring.
