Chapter Four: Throat Punch

Amanda barged into the dorm room shooting Jax up out of his nap

"Why didn't you come home?" She asked slamming her bag on the floor

"Too drunk, didn't want to" Jax said leanin over and grabbing his  cigarette that was in the ash tray

"You belong at home not here with her" Amanda said

"Who said i was with her?" Jax smiled

"I'm not dumb Jax" Amanda said

"Listen Mandy theres nothing going on between Link and i" Jax said

"That's why your in her room and naked" Amanda said

"Amanda enough! You wanna be an old lady then act like one" Jax said standing up and grabbing his boxers off the floor

"I am! I do everything you ask while your here screwing someone cause your sure as he'll not doing me" Amanda yelled

"I'm not screwing anyone alright? I'm just busy Amanda Christ I'm the VP i have obligations" Jax said

"Like what fucking your ex?" Amanda said

"I think it's time you and i had an adult talk" Jax said sitting back on the bed

"About what? The fact that you still have feelings for your ex who suddenly came back?" Amanda asked

"This has nothing to do with Link. It's been a long time coming Amanda and you know it. When's the last time I came home? Last month? Dont You see it?" Jax asked

"You are busy you said it yourself. I'm not giving up Jax" Amanda said as her eyes teared up

"I am, i have a long time ago" Jax said putting his cigarette out

"Don't Jax please, I want to start a family with you, I want your crow" Amanda said

"You'll never get my crow" Jax said

"So you can have her at your beck and call?" Amanda asked

"No, Link has nothing to do with it" Jax said

"Why does she have marks all over her neck then?" Amanda asked

Jax wanted to smirk but he knew he would give it away

"I think she and Happy were together last night" Jax said shrugging his shoulder

"Then what's your explanation?" Amanda asked

Jax knew he was caught "Ima" he lied, he hated that bitch

"Your lying, I knew it Jax" Amanda said

Jax just sat there, he had nothing to say but a few words "I want a divorce"

"Not happening I'll never sign the papers" Amanda said turning her heel and walking towards the main room, finsing Link and Gemma still sitting at the bar Amanda walked over and grabbed Link by the back of the hair and pulled her to the ground

"You really think you can come back and he will fall for you all over again" Amanda screamed as she raised her hand

Link grabbed Amandas  wrist before it connected with her face and bringing her other hand up and punching Amanda in the throat

"I'm done with your scratchy ratchet voice" Link said watching Amanda grab her throat

"He will never be yours Amanda. Jax will never give all of himself to you. Do you know why? Because your not me. You will never be me" Link yelled

"Get off your high horse Lincoln" Amanda choked out

"Trust me doll, I'm down on the ground, I know everything there is to know about your husband" Link said

"Then why aren't you married to him? Oh right you took off in the middle of the night" Amanda laughed

"I did what I had to do to protect my family" Link said

"Who was there to pick up your mess? I was. You left him and I loved him" Amanda said

"My mess? Jax would of been just fine if you didnt wave your nasty vag all over him" Link said getting closer to Amanda

"He didn't have any issue marrying me though did he?" Amanda snarled

Link took a deep breath, pinching the bridge of her nowe trying not to lose her cool she felt a large hand wrap around her upper arm

"She's not worth it Link, she's mad at me so she is going to take it out on you" Jax said pulling Link away

"Amanda go home. You'll be hearing from my lawyer this week" Jax said

"I'm not going down without a fight Jax, be ready" Amanda said

Link came from behind Jax and pushed Amanda to the ground and pressed the sole of her foot to Amanda's throat

"Don't threaten my family" Link said

"Lincoln enough" Jax said grabbing her roughly away

Link wiggled out of Jax's grip and headed back toward the dorm

After Jax made sure Amanda was out of the clubhouse he went back to the dorm to make sure Link was alright, opening the door he saw Link sitting on the bed with her knees up to her chest and her eyes closed

"She's gone and I'm filing papers this week" Jax said sitting on the edge of the bed

"Maybe I should go, I'm causing trouble and she's right. She cleaned up my mess that i left" Link said

"Your not leaving Link, there was no mess to clean up. She's just filling your head with bullshit" Jax said

Link looked at Jax, his eyes changing to a darker blue

"I allowed this to happen because I wanted to help my other friend out. I did this to myself" Link said

"I'm sorry Link, I'm sorry I didn't wait for you. But I am here now" Jax said

"You'll never be mine Jax, she will always be lurking" Link said

Jax moved closer to Link and cupped her face in his hands

"Let me tell you something, I'll always be yours" Jax said looking into her eyes

"You only think that because I have your crow" Link said rolling her eyes

"No, because that day you got my crow I gave you a piece of my heart. A piece I can't share with anyone else. God link all the things we've been through together. It's always going to be you" Jax said

Link wasn't sure what to believe, part of her wanted to believe every little word Jax was feeding her, but on the other hand she knew Jax, she knew every little thing about him and knew that he needed a constant in his life. And that constant needed to be her

"Jax, when I got sentenced a part of me was relieved" Link said

Jax pulled his head back with a confused look on her face

"When Marley made you promise to take care of me I felt that you felt obligated to always be there for me, like I was holding you down and I shouldn't have" Link said

"That's not true" Jax said

"Just look at the facts Jax. Look at you now your VP. If I was still around I'd be holding you back" Link said

"Why are you talking like this? I thought this morning meant something" Jax said

"It did Jax, but I think it meant different things for the both of us, for you it meant you expressing how you still feel towards me, while myself. I havent quite figured that out yet" Link said

"Link, my love for you never died. I knew one day you would come back" Jax said

"I haven't been back a full two days and I already ruined a marriage" Link said looking away from Jax

"You can't ruin something that was already ruined to begin with" Jax said using his hand to turn her face back toward him
