Chapter Twelve: One Two Three

Jax woke up with Link in his arms, something he missed greatly, the last two weeks had been interesting with Link still on bed rest, he felt so helpless when she would sit and cry because she was absolutely helpless. Jax relied on take out a lot and he felt bad that he couldn't cook or when he did Link wouldn't eat it. Looking at the clock on the wall Jax saw it was almost time for Link to get up, today they were inducing her because her due date was next week and the doctor was on vacation and didn't want Link to feel uncomfortable with another doctor.

"Babe, you gotta get up" Jax whispered in her ear

"I don't wanna" Link said attempting to roll over

"You gotta babe, I want to meet my little girl" Jax said rubbing her stomach

"I want to as well but this is the last lick of sleep I'm ever gonna get" Link said

"I know babe but I will be here to help so you can still get some sleep" Jax said

Link huffed and threw the blanket off of them and sat up, turning her head back she looked at Jax, you realize that the second I am healed or get clearance that's mine right?" Link said pointing at his naked member

Jax knew it bothered her that he slept naked and she couldn't do anything about it

"Oh babe I am well aware of that" Jax said getting off the bed and locating his boxers

Jax walked with Link towards the door of the hospital, she looked up at the sign and then back at Jax

"Whats wrong?" Jax asked looking at Link

"I want to get married" Link said

"We will" Jax said smiling

"No Jax like right now, before I walk in there. I don't want to have her out of wedlock I want to do this the right way" Link said pulling Jax towards the van

"Link, we don't have to do this right now" Jax said not understanding what was going on

"I don't want to wait anymore Jax I want to be a Teller, like now" Link said as they reached the van

"Babe we have to get upstairs" Jax said as he watched Link get in the van

"I don't care Jax, I'm doing this, ive waited all my life to be a Teller and your trying to stop me? Do you wanna get hitched or what?" Link asked

Jax stood there and looked at Link, she looked exhausted and run down, Jax himself was a unshaven mess and in his sweatpants

"You wanna do this right now?" Jax asked raising his brow

Link bit her lip and nodded, Jax smiled and got in the van and headed towards the city hall

Jax smiled at his wife as she struggled trying to take a spoon full of ice chips from the Styrofoam container "You want some help?" Jax laughed

"Shut up and help me" Link said

Jax stood up from the chair and walked over to Link and got a spoonful of ice chips and brought the spoon to Link's mouth

"I knew I married you for a reason, to take care of me and give me ice chips" Link said as Jax kissed her forehead

"Anything for you babe, I love you and even though it was completely last minute I'm glad we did" Jax said taking her hand that held one of his SONS rings

"A little tacky but we can get a new one later on, I don't have to wear this one Jax" Link smiled up

"Its fine babe, besides you look cute with it on" Jax said running his finger over the ring as Links hand tightened around his during a contraction
