Chapter Six: Court

Jax sat at the large table across from Amanda rubbing his temples, he didn't think that he would have to sit down with the lawyers this soon but apparently Amanda wanted more then what Jax agreed too, he didn't even want to agree with anything but suddenly she wanted the house and more money which he really didn't even have to give her to begin with

"Mr. Teller, my client has brought forth new information regarding your divorce. She told me in confidence that you are committing adultery while still married and going through the divorce process" the smug lawyer said

"What I do with my life is my life. Amanda and I haven't been intimate in quite sometime. With my work schedule I am not able to make it home all the time so I stay at my job, where I have a small apartment" Jax said leaning back in the chair

"You seemed to not be working when you were at the rusty nail last week with Lincoln Miller" he said sliding a few photos across the table

"So I was out with a old friend, she just came back into town and we were catching up" Jax said

"Your such a liar Jax. I know you two are together, show him the other pictures" Amanda said to her lawyer, who indeed took out more pictures of Jax and Link in a very compromising position

"You've been having someone follow me? Going back to the club?" Jax asked getting angry

"Your new love interest has a history doesn't she Mr. Teller. wouldn't it be sad if my client pressed charges against her when she was assaulted by Ms. Miller" he said

Jax looked at his lawyer in disbelief

"What do you want now?" Jax asked

"Rules have changed Jax, I want the house, fifty grand and I want Link out of the clubhouse until the divorce is final so I know you aren't messing around on me. and I want you home every night for the next month. if you cant abide by it then I wont sign them" Amanda smiled

"Your joking right?" Jax laughed

"Unfortunately Mr. Teller we are not" her lawyer said closing the file folder of pictures

"Unless you can come up with a hundred grand" Amanda added

"I'll have it for you by the end of the week. better yet. I'll give you two but I want you out of my house and I want you out of Charming" Jax said looking at Amanda

Amanda thought about it for a second, pretty much a free ride to wherever she wanted as long as she signed the papers

"I'll think about it, but until then do we have a deal?" Amanda said

"No, I'm not going back to that disgusting house, you've trashed it" Jax said

"Jax you should probably do what she requested, your looking at alot of alimony" Jaxs lawyer said

"Your fired, you aren't doing me any good" Jax said

"I will take my chances, I'm not going back to the house and I will not make Link leave" Jax said

Jax walked into the clubhouse in search for Link, he needed her, he needed her warmth around him. Finding her in the dorm he didn't give her a chance to speak after closing the door behind him, roughly grabbing her face and bringing it to his taking her lips greedily while unbuttoning her pants and pulling them down, after shimmying himself out of his pants he pushed Link back on the bed

"Hey is everything okay?" Link asked as Jax hovered over her

"Soon babe, but until then we have to lay low, Amanda is giving me alot of shit. She hired a PI to follow me...us" Jax said

"Is she really that crazy? I mean who does that Jax" Link said getting up out of the bed

"Where are you going?" Jax asked sitting up as Link got dressed

"I'm going to have a chat with your wife and dont try to stop me" Link said walking out of the room

Link knocked on the door of Jax and Amanda's house when Amanda opened the door her jaw dropped when Link was standing there

"You and I need to have a heart to heart" Link said pushing her way into the house, Link looked around and nearly vomited by the site of it. Trash all over the house and it smelled like someone had died in there

"About what my husband?" Amanda asked closing the door

"Yes, just leave him alone and sign the papers, let the man live his life" Link said leaning against the counter

"Why so you two can be together?" Amanda asked crossing her arms

Link looked at Amanda and back down at the floor "You not divorcing him isn't going to stop us, you think that by not signing those papers is going to separate us? Your wrong. Do you remember what I told you that night? Jax will always chose me" Link said

"Don't be so full of yourself" Amanda said

"Trust me I'm not. I just know the facts, Jax and I have always had something since we were kids, I know him better then he knows himself" Link said

"Then why did he marry me and not you?" Amanda asked

"Because you were just a sad time out for a long time and that is all youll ever be to Jax. There is a reason why he never asked you to get his crow" Link said

"I'm still not signing the papers until he goes through with the deal I asked for" Amanda said

"There is probably a reason why he wont. I didn't get the details he was too busy fucking my brains out when he came back to me" Link smiled

Tears formed in Amanda's eyes

"Just make this easier on yourself Amanda and just sign the damn papers, because its not going to stop us from seeing eachother, sleeping in the same bed. Nothing" Link said

"Not until he gives me the money and until then I'm not signing them" Amanda said

"how much?" Link asked

"Two hundred grand" Amanda said

Link thought about what she was about to say before she opened her mouth, pinching the bridge of her nose with her fingers she looked at Amanda

"And youll sign the papers?" Link asked

Amanda nodded her head

"Lets go for a ride" Link said
