It's like you have toothpicks holding your eyes open.

It's more like waiting.
That waiting game,
When you're so impatient,
And you wait

Just to see their name?
A sleepless night is having a date with Insomnia.
"That's when meds come in"
Pills to end the thrill,
To kill our minds,
To numb the ill.
When you're too overwhelmed.
But is this emotion.
This feeling.
Does it manifest correctly?
The emptiness,
Numbness.
Nothing.
It's nothing.
You feel nothing,
And you let nothing feel you.
So what's the true meaning of a sleepless night??
