The Grey Household,
New York City
January 7th, 2000"Mutants are depicted as awful beings, when really I can assure you that mutants are indeed humans, just they have special differences which affects the way people look at them. It is only a misunderstanding. Now your daughter, her mutation...her powers are extraordinary, and it'd only be great for her to enroll into my school for the Gifted Youngsters. Now it is only at your permission, Mr and Mrs Grey,"
Charles Xavier sits in his bright silver wheelchair waiting for the answer of Jean Greys parents.
Mr. Grey looks to Charles and then turns his head to his wife, he starts to speak, "Professor Xavier, I have to say this school of yours sounds magnificent, but my wife and I, we don't think it is right for Jean. She..."
Mr.Grey was cut off by his wife, "If Jean is being the one enrolled into the school. If Jean is the centerpoint in this situation, or so you'd call it, then she will make the decision,"
Mrs. Grey turns her head to the long stairway and yells for Jean to come downstairs, "Jean!! Come down for a second darling,"
Jean steps down the stairs, her bright red hair shining from the bright glare that sparks from the living room window. Jean looks at her parents, and sitting infront of them is a balded man in a wheelchair with a daring blue suit on. Jean walks her way over to the couch and sits down next to the bald headed man.
"What is it?" Jean asks her parents politely.
Jeans father looks at her, "Professor Xavier here would like to enroll you into a school. A school for...mutants. If you were to say yes to this offer, then you would live in the school with people of your own kind."
Jeans face brightens, she starts to smile, "You mean, I'd be with people my own kind??"
Professor Xavier turns his head to Jean and grins happily, "Yes, Jean, indeed. But if you were to enroll, then you WILL live there, away from your parents. It is your decision,"
Jean puts her head down as her smile shadows away. She looks up at her parents, "Mother...father, I beleive that it is best for I to enroll into the school,"
Jeans parents grab Jeans hands and tell her, "Okay, darling. Remember to call us and know that we will always love you,"
Proffesor Xavier moves his wheelchair over to the front door and waits for Jean to pack her bags.
Approximately 20 minutes later, Jean walks downstairs with her bags and kisses her parents. The Professor and Jean leave the house and drive to the school.
Xaviers School For Gifted Youngsters
Westchester, New YorkThe Professor drives up to the school gate, he talks into the speaker saying, "Bobby, I'm home, open up," The school gate opens revealing a large beautiful mansion. Jeans jaw drops as the sun shines through the window, into her eyes.
The Professor drives toward the main doors, another student named Bobby opens the big doors up and awaits for The Professor to walk up along with the new student.
The Professor stops the car, Jean rushes out of the car and walks really quickly up to the main doors. Jean looks at Bobby, "Hi, I'm Jean Grey, the new student here, you are?"
Bobby looks at Jean, realizing how beautiful Jean is, "Make that the second student here, including me," He chuckles. "But my name is Bobby...Bobby Drake,"
Jean looks around Bobby, "What do you mean the second student here?"
Bobby replies to Jean, "The only two students enrolled to the school at the moment..." Bobby is cut off by a yelling Professor.
