Chapter Three

Night couldn't come any faster. Everything was ready. I was ready. I knew Sidney's life was ready to be spared.

I quickly but quietly raced to the bathroom. Once I got in, I had to think of the quietest way of getting out. The window was close to the ground for the most part.

I just have to place everything near the window. Then I simply reach in and grab everything. Easy.

I start to grab the food. Theres canned food in the backpack and i knew I had to put that out first in order to be as quiet as possible.

My palms are sweaty. Ew. Theres just so much pressure on me. I have a pregnant woman's life depending on me. I was supposed to kill her in 2 more days...the tought of killing her made my stomach churn.

I then get the backpack out of the window then the bathroom door opens. My body is half out the window and the door just opened. Oh shit. Im doomed.

I felt something grasp my side and then pull me slowly. I was so scared untill I realized these hands were small. I was able to calm down because it's just Sidney.

Shes only 4'9 and has small hands so shes harmless. I thought to myself.

She spoke to me through her mind. "I'm ready. You go out first and ill hand everything to you. Then when I come out i need you to catch me incase if i fall."

"Okay. Let's do this" I replied

I climb out the window and land very smoothly. I started to grab things that Sidney passed to me. And then I realized that she was climbing through the window. I grabbed her lower half and helped her down.

"Good thing I unlocked the front door first. I made it seem like we went out the front door. I even sprayed my perfume near the door so they'll deffinitly think we went that way. Come one let's go."

I nodded. Im greatful that she did that. I didnt even think of that.

The suns starting to come up so I know we've been walking for miles. Good thing about werewolves is that we don't always need to sleep. We can go a few nights without sleeping but of course well need something to boost our energy.

We finally stop walking to take a break. We had to eat the beans cold so there wouldn't be any ovbious signs that we were heading this way.

We finished eating and started to keep walking. We walked for about 3 more miles before we came across an arrow sticking out of a tree. I recognize this place.

I started to cry. I couldn't stop crying. That was where my mother was burried. I fell to my knees and cried. I missed her so much. The sad part is i dont even know how she passed away. I was so little but I remember her. I remember seeing her cough up blood. It was scary for a child.

I was crying so hard that I hadn't even noticed that Sidney had kneeled down next to me and was rubbing my back. I looked up at her. She was a blurr because my eyes were so watery. I felt bad. I needed to be strong for her and the baby.

I quickly wiped my tears away and hugged her. I told her that this is where my mom was burried. Her eyes began to water. She never knew her mom. Her mom passed away delivering her. Her dad was a werewolf while her mom was a human.

I felt bad for her. She must be scared because she's pregnant. I can only imagine that she'd be thinking 'what if I pass away giving birth?' Its a scary thing.

"Come on. Let's keep going because we don't know when they'll come looking for us. We don't even know how far behind they are." She tries to encourage me to get up.

"Yeah. Your right. Come on."

After walking untill the sun was setting, we had a feeling we were being followed. We just brushed it off but we're ready just incase.

We walked about 10 more minutes before we seen a man standing in front of us. Neither Sidney or i recognized him.

"Hello ladies. I believe you've crossed boundary lines." The man spoke.

He was a very handsome man. Then another man comes along and was immediately alarmed by us and called for someone else.

"We're very sorry. We mean no harm. Im trying to get my friend to safety. Shes pregnant and her husband wants her killed for it. Please help us." I say calmly but also felling a bit scared.

"What's are your names? What pack are you from? How long have you been walking? Why does your husband want you dead for being pregnant?" He hammered us with questions.

"Well sir, im Anastasia and this is Sidney. Shes pregnant but shes early on. We don't come from a pack..." I lowered my head but continued to answer his quiestions. We've been walking for almost 2 days and didn't sleep. Sidney's husband wants her dead because he believes that she cheated on him and that the baby isn't his."

The man looked at us in curiosity. Then looked to his 2 buddies. "I'm Eric. The guy shitting his pants is James and the calm dude is Oliver. Anyways you guys mean to tell me that you're rouges? Your kind isn't welcome around here."

A sudden intoxicating smell hits me.

"Oh yes she is." A deep voice says very dominantly.

We all turn to look past a tree where a tall man stands just looking at us.

"I'm Gabriel and im the alpha of this pack. Both of you follow me. Now."

Wow demanding and sexy? That's fantastic. I couldn't find what smelt so good. As we followed him I noticed he could smell something too. He was looking around very curiously. I think I knew what it was. It was him.
