Chapter Eight

A/N
THERE WILL BE A DIFFERENT POV IN THIS CHAPTER OTHER THAN ANASTASIAS. WILL IT BE GABRIELS? WILL IT BE SIDNEYS? OR WILL IT BE CARLOS'? READ ON TO FIND OUT.

I have never seen this girl before. She had blonde hair and brown eyes. She wasn't too tall. 5' id guess.

"Who are you?" Sidney asked.

"I'm Skylar. Someones here for you. He says he's your husband but we were told you two came alone."

Oh no. Please no. Carlos found us. He found our safe place. The one place we felt safe and he found us. Hes going to kill us. Hes going to kill Sidney. I cant let this happen.

"Skylar we ran away from this man because he thought that Sidney cheated on him. He wants her dead. Im going to go downstairs and do my best to send him away. Dont let anybody come in the room or Sidney and her unborn child will die. Sidney is all I have and I can't lose her. She's my only family. Please." I begged.

"We're your family now. We all look out for each other. Go. Gabriels at the front door and he wont allow him in unless if you're there to give the ok. I'll look after her."

"Thank you." I quickly hugged her. "By the way my names Anastasia."

"I know. Our alpha wont shut up about you. Well talk later."

I nodded and made my way out of the room. I cant believe this. I hope this isn't Carlos. Anybody but him.

I get to the bottom of the stairs and look to my right just to see Gabriel blocking the entrance to the front door.

"Who are you? If i dont get a name you aren't comming in this house." Gabriel demanded.

"Dont worry about who I am. You have somethings that belongs to me and I want them back."

I went behind Gabriel and wrapped my arms around his waist letting him know that I was there. He looked over at me and I nodded at him telling him it was ok to let him in.

"You have five minutes. Nothing more." Gabriel moved aside to let this man in. Gabriel stood in front of me to block me from the man.

"Where's my wife?" I recognized this voice from anywhere.

It's him.

"Its Carlos. Hes here. Gabriel is the only thing that's keeping him from me." I spoke to Sidney through our brains waves.

She didnt respond so I got worried but as long as Carlos is infront of me then I know and have to believe she's okay.

"Your wife isn't here."

"I followed her scent and traced it here. I know she's here. I'm Carlos Foster and im the king of the rogues damn it. Where the fuck is she?!"

There's he goes always yelling. I herd some snapping and cracking so I knew he had shifted.

Gabriel was pissed but he didn't shift. Not yet atleast. He stood even closer to me to give me comfort but I think he did that so he wouldn't shift and rip this asshole to shreds.

"I can smell them. Where is Sidney and that bitch Anastasia?! They think they can hide from me but they can't because I found them."

Gabriel shifted. I was in sight now because Gabriel was in position to attack Carlos.

"There you are." Carlos said with venom laced in his voiced. He went to attack me but Gabriel didnt let him. They were now fighting and I knew it was time for me to shift.

I shifted and started to attack Carlos. He bit into my left shoulder and threw me across the room. Thats the last thing I remember.

     Gabriel's POV

I was so pissed off i could see red. Once I seen him bite my mate and throw her, I lost it. I sank my teeth into his neck. I bit him so hard my jaw started to hurt. I could hear his painful cries but Anastasia didnt make a sound.

I bit down as hard as I possibly could and then his whimpers stopped. I released him and his body fell to the floor. I shifted back and I grabbed his neck and snapped it.

I dont wanna see him around my mate or Sidney ever again.

I called out for Oliver, Anthony, and James to come and dispose of his body.

"Burn him. Be ready for more to come. I dont know how many of them there are but we will fight every single last one of them and we will burn them all. Do you all understand me?!" I was furious. I need to protect my mate and Sidney.

Sidney doesn't have a connection to me but she means everything to Anastasia so I will do everything in my power to make sure they are both safe.

I go over to her and see if she's even alive. She has to be. Shes dealt with him for the longest time. She just has to be.

I go to check her pulse when I hear her bones start to crack and snap. Shes shifting. I let her finish shifting and then I check her pulse. A strong heart beat.

I lift her and bring her to my room. I placed her on my bed not caring about the rules. I closed the black silk curtains so the room has dim light.

I sat next to her and started to run my hand through her hair. Her eyes slowly fluttered open and she started to lightly cry. She was in pain. I called for Dr Fissip and he came within seconds of me calling him.

"I'll take a look at her. I dont need to know what happened right this second I just need to know what's bothering her." He said with a calm soothing voice. He is always so good with his patients.

"Its her shoulder. I might as well tell you know. She got knocked out so she might not remember."

I explained to him what had just happened so he would understand. He just nodded and started to get to work.

While I was waiting for him to finish with Anastasia, I removed all of the broken furniture from the kitchen and brought it to the pile of things to burn. Carlos being the first thing we burn.

Our table set was destroyed. All except one chair so I decided that we'll burn it. As I brought it outside, I see Dr Fissip comming towards me.

"Alpha. She will be fine. The tendons in her shoulder will heal eventually. Im prescribing her Lidocaine for the pain."

"What the hell is lidocaine?"

"Its a numbing medicine that the humans developed for pain.it has to be injected into her shoulder twice a day for the next 2 weeks."

Thats why I've never herd about it. Its something that the humans created.

"Also she will need to wear a sling. Her entire arm may go numb so this will be to protect her arm and to keep blood flow. I'll be checking on her in two days."

"Thank you Dr Fissip. Oh and one more thing. How will she bathe?" I'm hoping he'll say someone needs to help her.

"She will need help. Maybe one of the girls can help. Or perhaps you could do it." He smiled at me and walked away to leave me in my thoughts.

I feel like a child in a candy store. I can bathe with her. Yes! I can finally see her naked curves. Theyre small curves but I find them to be so sexy.

Hmm. I have to go into town for a new kitchen set. I should see if she'd like to come.
