*a few hours later*

I couldn't sleep. My mind was somewhere else. I couldn't stop thinking about him. I couldn't stop thinking about how his lips felt on mine. How I barely know him and im already in love with him.

He is my mate after all. I want to go to him. To lay with him. To kiss him more. I'd love to do many other things....

"Do it. Anastasia he is your mate! He wont deny you. Hell accept you and maybe even let you sleep in his bed with him. This bed is so cold and empty. All this room for one person?"

"You have a point. I cant just go to him. I dont even know where is room is! I'll have to wait."

"Ahh but you don't want to. Just face it. You want him. He can probably sence your last for him."

My wolf was right. He can sence what I feel. Doing all this thinking made me a little hungry so I get up to go to the kitchen. I get out of bed and got to the door. I went to the kitchen and grabbed some leftover asparagus and potatoes with a bottle of water.

I was so focused on preparing my late night snack that I didn't even notice that Gabriel wad behind me. He stood in the door way to the kitchen waiting for me to turn around. I turned to look at him and he had a grin on his face.

"Can you be any louder?" He asked me.

'Uhm yes actually. In bed im pretty sure I can be louder than this.' I thought to myself.

"Nope. Im sorry for being to loud. I just wanted a snack. I couldn't sleep."

"We can watch a movie. Everyones asleep so we can watch it in my room-" He paused. "If you want to of course."

Yes! I did want to! But how do I say yes without sounding desperate?

"Yes." I said that too quick. Shit. He might think im desperate.

Oh no. Why isn't he saying anything?!?

"You okay over there? You seem to be thinking about something."

I'm good. I'm thinking about you. Not in a nasty way for once.....oh wait, nevermind.

"Yeah I'm fine. I'll watch a movie with you after I have my late night snack."

"Alright. I'll grab one too while I'm at it. Do you like popcorn?"

Oh he knows me so well and he hasn't even known me for a full 24 hours. "Of course I do. Who doesn't like popcorn?"

"Great. I'll get some going."

He goes to the cabinet and grabs a stove top popcorn packet. I love watching those pop. Watching the tin foil slowly rise as the popcorn pops.

Gabriel comes and sits next to me. He places his hand on my thigh, almost hesitantly.

"This tattoo. What does it mean? Why is it there? "

Hes talking about the tattoo of a black heart on my upper outter thigh.

"My black heart. I've never been shown love. I'm a rogue so im not supposed to love. I've never felt love towards anybody untill-" Damn it. I was thinking out loud. I almost told him that I think I love him....
