"I just have to say, you look so damn good." Amirè blushed while he complimented Azélia but she didn't do the usual cute smile that he loved, she seemed out of it. "Thanks." She said plainly, her eyes roamed the fancy restaurant that resided near the beach.
Soft music played in the back of the restaurant from the live band that they had. It was soothing but Amirè wasn't too hype on their choice of music.
"What's wrong with you?" Amirè asked picking up his straw and sipping on some pink lemonade that had a sugary rim . "You don't feel like this is wrong? You don't think karma will come are way?" Azélia was a heavy believer in bad karma and good karma, she couldn't help but feel that her actions would cause her to have bad karma.
"You know today, I gave her back her ring. I was so happy coming home right, ready to tell her the big news but she had an attitude when I asked to take her out. So, if this is wrong, I don't want it to be right." The way Amirè spoke sent chills down her spine, it was so dominant just like his intimidating demeanor. "I love her to death but I ain' gonna be stupid over someone who doesn't see what they have right in front of em." Azélia could tell that he really did care about her but he kept singing the same tune with Kijah and it was getting boring.
"Your loyalty will be tested when you have it all." Azélia said sounding like a fortune cookie, it was the truth though. Amirè always knew that good things don't last forever, so while he had it all at this very moment, he stayed humble.
"Let's not talk about her tonight alright? What you wanna eat?" Amirè added on to his sentence as he snaked his hand around Azélia's. "I don't know, what are you trying to eat?" She asked scanning the menu, not knowing what any of it was.
"you" he mumbled real low "What did you say?" Azélia asked taking her eyes off of the menu "I said I'm feeling for soup but uh...ta ta taaaaa I'll have the steak I guess." Amirè placed the menu back down on the table and admired Azélia as she tried to analyze the menu.
"I'll have some crabs, it has a big fancy name but I know it's crabs." She laughed folding up the menu, her eyes caught Amirè staring at her like he was trying to read her soul. Azélia slowly slid out of her leather jacket, exposing her beautiful skin.
"Who took you to get that tattoo?" Amirè asked looking at her breast, exactly where the tattoo laid. "I took myself, isn't it nice?" She smiled looking down at the art work that laid on her precious body. The Ying & Yang sign was designed in realism, almost like a portrait and it had flowers that bloomed from the sign, some were dead flowers and some were beautiful and blooming. "It's amazing just like you."
The waiter came over to the table with a couple other menus laying under the tray he had their appetizers on. His eyes could not stay off of Azélia and of course Amirè felt a little jealous and disrespected. Even though she's not his girl, he was finding himself to be very protective over her.
"Are you ready to order beautiful ?" He pulled out a notepad that had the restaurants name on it in gold. "Yes, we are going to have the steak, the ribs and some crabs. Thanks bro." Amirè butted in being a little ignorant. "The sides that come along with it too?" The waiter cleared his throat and reconstructed his view to Amirè who had a mug on his face that could kill.
"Yes." Azélia squeezed Amirè's hand tighter noticing how hard he was staring at the waiter. The waiter walked away stuffing the notepad back into his pocket of his apron. "Now why did you do that?" She laughed lightly slapping Amirè's hand then moved over to the steaming appetizer.
"That was disrespectful, he see me here wicha' so why he tryna' flirt ya hear me?"
"You see what you just said, I'm here with you." Azélia rolled her eyes at his jealous actions but she found it cute none the less. When she was with Amirè she didn't think of him as her sister fiancé, he was someone who had her best interest at heart.
