Are we wasting time talking on a broken line?

Mabel.

Great Uncle Ford still didn't let go of his gun. He held it with one hand while the other was positioned in a stop sign of some manner. He inspected Bill with an intent stare only. At least it was only a stare. Only an intent stare.

Grunkle Stan still had his eyes shut, shaking his head. "Okay. You're telling me that..." His voice faltered. He can't even say it. He can't even say that his great niece is dating a demon. A demon that tried to kill him, his twin brother and practically everyone in Gravity Falls.

I stare at Bill Cipher and think that he has changed. I'm hoping that he's changing, I'm hoping that my trust wouldn't be shattered just because of a guy. My heart has, but my trust has still remained the same.

"Bill Cipher. Mabel, this is rubbish." He started to load the gun, with its blue laser-like line inside acting like bullets. "What you're talking is nonsense. He's fooling you, stay--"

Bill rose from his seat. From their distance, I can already tell that Hill was at least 2 inches taller than Great Uncle Ford. I mind that; I like tall people, thank you very much. "Stanford," he said, his voice a bit stern. "I can do anything but fooling Mabel isn't one of those."

He nocked an eyebrow, still not turning off the gun. "Really? You've done it once before."

My mind suddenly did a flashback to the time I was hurt. The time when I became a bit foolish, or maybe a bit selfish to what my brother needs and wants. I was so... A bit... a bit lost that I was deceived easily. I didn't suspect or anything. I was too gullible.

And then he fooled me. He made a fool out of myself. But I guess it wouldn't hurt to be a bit selfish, would it?

It would after.

Bill hesitated, but he still replied, "That was before."

"How can I trust you if I know you?"

"Are you sure you know me?"

"I do! I do and you're that kind of person who would do anything just to get what he wants!" He started firing it even more. More energy meant more harm. I wasn't able to do anything, my whole self just sat there, inanimate. I cursed. "You're a demon and you want. Us. All. Dead!"

I don't know if my mind went a bit too far with being fuzzy, because I saw something sparking. It was Bill's hand. With glowing electricity emitting from his palm, I blinked.

I looked at it and it was gone, at te exact minute that Soos went in the scene.

We all looked at him, eyeing the invitations he was holding more than Soos himself. All my worries vanished and suddenly, I only heard my squeals, hugging him as I did. With one of his hands hugging me back, he used the other to deliver the invitations to Stanley.

He gave me one. It was different from the others. Not really different, 'cause that would be unfair (but why didn't they make it a bit of so much more different than the others?). The words were only printed in gold instead of silver, and at the bottom read, "Thank you, Pines twins."

"That's for you and Dipper," he said, patting my shoulder. "You guys helped us from the start, and we took it from there. Look at us now."

I nodded and read the entourage. "I see your point." It said there that I was the maid-of-honor and of course, I'll be going with Dipper as Soos's best man. The wedding's going to be held in the forest, much less to the approval of Melody's parents, but it'll do. The reception will then be followed at their favorite resto.
