Never trust a mirror, for a mirror always lies.
It makes you think that all your woth can be sen from the outside.
Nver trust a mirror, it only shows you what's skin deep.
You cannot see how your eyelids flutter as you drift off to sleep.
It does not show you what the world sees when you are only being you, or how your eyes light up when you're loving what you do.
It does not capture when you're smiling where nobody else can see, and your reflection cannot, and will not tell you what I see.
It will not tell you how pretty I think you are when you're not dressed and with no makeup, and it will not tell you how beautiful I think your sleepy voice is.
Never trust a mirror, for it only shows your skin.
If you really believe that a piece of glass dictates your worth, maybe it's time you look within.
