Like broken glass, we shatter and crack. With every demeaning breath out of our parents, we don't know who we are, or where we're going.
Followed by that, are our low grades. We used to be all honors students. Do you remember that?
Friends have always been an issue, only because we're all too scared to talk to anyone new. When you see someone who you want to be friends with, but the thought of walking up to them with the intention of sparking up a conversation sends a hoard of wasps through your veins, and a sledgehammer rests on your lungs, you know that you can't do it.
Now, we all stay up way longer than we should, thinking about all of the homework we didn't do, and all of the plans we made excuses to get out of.
We look for drugs in other people, only because we can't get the high we need on staying alone. It's hard, isolating yourself. But it's even harder to open your soul and allow someone to come in and rearrange all of your thoughts.
