Draco's POV:
I was having trouble focusing on packing, so I decided to go for a walk.
Not knowing where I was going, or where I'd end up, I exited the Slytherin common room and made my way up the stone staircases. I walked past the Great Hall, then over towards the library.
I walked around, not really caring where I was, I silently browsed the random section I'd stumbled upon.
Pulling an old leather-backed book from the shelf, I opened it to find that the book was about defensive spells. All of which were legal, of course. Flipping through some, I found a few I knew, and others that I didn't, even with my extensive training in the dark arts thanks to my father. Thinking these spells may be useful in the future, I copied a few of them down on a fresh sheet of parchment and folded it into my school bag that I'd been carrying.
I quickly continued my walk, now going up the steps to the astronomy tower, as it was dark and I knew the view would be beautiful, as always. I was halfway up the steps when I began to regret not coming here again with Harry...wait, no, no I couldn't be thinking like that. Not with break so close, where my plan could shatter into a million pieces thanks to Dumbledore and that filthy little mudblood Granger.
I sighed. Even calling Hermione a mudblood was getting harder. What is wrong with me? Am I sick or something?
I did drink something funny earlier. Blaze had made a bet with me, and I'd lost, so I had to try out that stupid potion he'd made, though he wouldn't tell me what it was. All he said, was that it would kick in later tonight.
The bloody idiot wouldn't tell me what the Hell it was. My angry thoughts soon turned away from Blaze and the potion, and back to Harry. I wondered if he'd already packed. Maybe he's sitting up in his common room, talking with Granger and his Gryffindor friends. Probably not thinking about me at all...
Why am I even thinking about this?
I stopped in my tracks, realizing that I was about to head back down the staircase and over to the Gryffindor common room to try to find Harry. And since when did I stop calling him Potter in my head?
Oh no, this must be that damn potion Blaze made...
The more I tried to focus on it, the hazier the details were. All I really could focus on was Harry, and I was unconsciously climbing the steps, while loosing the embarrassment of thinking of Harry, and trying to think of were I could find him.
I opened the door to the astronomy tower, to find that my prayers had actually been answered for once. There, sleeping peacefully on the edge of the tower (thank god for the charm preventing any of the students from falling) was Harry James Potter.
His skin glowed in the moonlight, and I almost didn't wake him up, but then I gave completely into the potion and shook the sleeping Gryffindor awake.
Harry rubbed his eyes sleepily, and leaned over
onto my chest.
"Hmmm.." he mumbled drowsily. "Draco?"
I'd just given him the Amortentia the night before, and I may have given him a bit much, so the potion was still nice and strong. I saw the tired boy yawn, then smile dreamily as he looked up at me.
"What are you doing here?" He asked, though I don't think he was complaining.
"Wanted to go for a walk." I replied, a bit distracted by the heat of him leaning on my chest. Normally I would have dismissed this, knowing it was only the love potion he was under, but tonight, it gave me this odd feeling in the pit of my stomach. I finally understand what it's like when someone gives you butterflies.
"Come on," I said, helping him up. "Let's go somewhere else."
"Like where?" He asked. "It's after curfew. Dray, are you feeling alright? You're acting a bit off." He looked so concerned about me, and I cursed my stomach, trying to convince it to give up gymnastics.
"I've never been better." I replied.
We walked down to the Room of Requirement, where I walked past three times, each time thinking about the room I wanted.
After the third pass, a large mahogany door appeared in front of us.
"What's this?" Harry asked curiously.
"Go inside and find out." I replied. It was barely over a whisper into his ear, and I saw his cheeks flush a bright red. I loved how easy it was to get him flustered or embarrassed. He was so cute when he was like that.
We entered the room to find it just as comfortable as the Gryffindor common room, but with the colors of both Gryffindor and Slytherin houses, and a nice warm fire in the hearth near the furniture.
Harry looked around in a sort of awe, and I led him to a couch near the fire. We sat down on and Harry looked confused, as I usually wouldn't sit this close to him.
"You sure your alright Dray?" He asked as I draped my arm around him.
I smiled. "Yeah, why?"
Harry sighed. "It's probably nothing," he said, "it's just that, your acting a bit odd. I didn't know if there was something wrong or if I did something, though you don't seem mad at me-"
I cut him off by kissing him on the lips. Harry slowly relaxed and kissed me back. After that, Harry stopped questioning me.
I traces my tongue over his bottom lip, asking permission, and when he opened his mouth slightly I explored every inch of his mouth with my tongue, and his mine. They danced in a flow of graceful yet messy movements, and didn't stop until we were both gasping for breath, then we did it again...Hey guys, so, I am going to be ending the quizzes. Thank you all so much for reading my story!
