Hollan Roden as Marysse Cordelia

"So tell me something about yourself." Dumbledore spoke, letting the lady sit down in front of his office desk.

"I didn't know my name. But they said I was Marysse Cordelia. I've lived a long time in the Black Lake. For us merpeople, the age you can get feet already are at the age of 16." I spoke. Dumbledore, who sat infront of me, listened intently. So I went on.

"But, six years ago. I felt something slipped inside me. Probably in my limb. I know it wasn't mine. Before merpeople could be born, they'd have to seek their true loved ones. But I felt mine inside me six years ago." I said truthfully.

"And so when I rose up above the water, I saw a group of students. They were all climbing up a tree and sitting on the branches. My caught a particular boy in which I immediately knew that part of him is inside me now."

"Forgive me, Ms. Cordelia but, who is this boy you saw six years ago?" He asked.

"He looked like his father years ago. Same platinum blonde hair and greyish blue eyes."

Dumbledore instantly knew who she was talking about.

"Aside from that, when the school year ends, I happen to swim ocean away from here to the nearest lake in his home just so I could follow him. It's not easy swimming that long." She chuckled.

"Recently, I happen to have read a book about merpeople. So, how do merpeople exactly die? Forgive me again for having to ask this kind of question." Dumbledore spoke, but Marysse gave him a small smile.

"It's alright professor. Merpeople can die if there loved one dies too. Or, merpeople can die because their loved one couldn't love them back. We have a limited time on land. And if we are unable to get them love us back, we return to the water as sea foam."
