The world was made to hold us down, so what if I fly? Will they make me drown? What if I'm quiet? will they make a sound? I couldn't be lost they would say I'm found. The world isn't perfect but it fakes what it wants, priceless clothes and fancy fonts, we are nothing to them but the rain in the sky, vessels filled up with empty lies, nobody cares if we suddenly die, nobody's going to save our lives, so we have to bring truth to our words, but sometimes being this good hurts, and that's why so many aren't ever heard, never ending sentences and an ongoing verse. What if we never lost hope?would this world still have a knife at its throat? would we still beg for something to cope? Would we be happy to tie this noose with the rope? This is not how it should be, take all our emotions and set them free, so they know how far we'll plead, to break us out and drown this need. I'm just looking for someone who still understands, that life is more than breaking rules that still stand, We need to break this dark into light, so let you're empty lies sleep for tonight.
