Saved by the bell?

I slid my bruised legs into a pair of loose sweat pants and pulled a shirt over my head. I went to the bathroom to do my hair, the only part of me that wasn't bruised was my face. i tousled my bangs, giving them a careless look and straightened my fiery red hair. i pulled out my zip up hoodie and put it on zipping it all the way and pulling my hood up. i pulled on my red converse and went downstairs to make breakfast.

i cooked eggs bacon hash browns and pancakes. i set the food on the tray and took it up to his room setting it on his nightstand with two aspirin and a cup of orange juice. i walked back downstairs grabbed my bag and a pop-tart and began the walk to school. I got to school early so i went to my first hour and got a desk at the back.

I balled my hands in the sleeves of my hoodie and stared down at them till the bell rang. The new teacher started calling roll she got to my name and i raised my hand silently. she looked up at me seemingly confused, she had short black hair with side bangs peeking out of her beanie. She chewed her lip ring before continuing on with roll.

i continued admiring her, she had a slim figure and a small chest. she was pretty cute she was tall, 6'2 or something. i bit the inside of my lip and watched her pretty green eyes swoop over the room watching all of us. The guys stared at her with lust in their eyes, men are disgusting. she started a game and told us a lot about herself. she was bi, i sensed that about her, i licked my lips as her eyes burned into mine. she pointed to me.

i swallowed thickly standing slowly. i thought, i could say lots about myself like how my "father" abused me or how i was raped several times, or a number of other horrible things, but as i opened my mouth to speak the bell rang and students stampeded the halls, she looked crestfallen. i slipped out of the classroom quietly and slid to my next class avoiding torment for the rest of the day. When I got home, he wasn't there. He wouldn't be back tonight.
