"You sure if it's okay if I come?" Alice asked insecure, it was half past nine and the cold night breeze froze her cheeks and nose turning them pink.

"Oh sure, they will love to meet you" George said shoving his hands in his pockets, smiling with the thought of John's jaw dropping when he saw Alice.

They walked a few blocks in silence. George had tried to convince the girl to take a cab but she insisted on walking. John's house wasn't so far so he agreed.

During the whole time they've been walking, Alice didn't look up at George, who was discreetly watching her.

"Well, well, well! What we have here!" John Lennon exclaimed standing up and taking his cigar off his mouth in an act of surprise.

Paul McCartney turned his head to see what his friend was talking about. His mouth fell a bit open when he saw the beautiful bird who had just walked in. Her friend helped her to take of her coat and her beautiful long black hair appeared, swinging from left to right. Paul's cheeks turned red.

"She's with George. Do you know her?" Paul asked, not taking his eyes off the girl.

"No" the oldest lad replied taking off his hat and shoving it on his companion's head. "But I wouldn't mind to" he completed starting to walk to the lady but then stopped and looked back to Paul "Did I ordered you to stop playing, McCartney?"

Paul rolled his eyes and started to playing some old songs he knew on the piano while John was going to "have some fun".

"Georgie! Nice to see you could make it!" John said tapping the folk's shoulder, a grin that showed off all his teeth "And this is your girlfriend, I suppose?" he continued before George could even reply. John gave the girl a stare that made her blood flush to her face. He knew she wasn't George's girlfriend.

"Uh no" George said a bit disconcerted.

"Oh what a shame! So I guess she's available!" John said, he couldn't stop a smirk to appear.

But Alice wasn't listening anymore, her mind was far away, well, not that far, it was set on the guy who was playing the piano, the one with a black hat. He didn't look much older, but he looked good. Pretty good actually. And, for some unknown reason, he looked back at that exact moment and both eyes met each other and both eyes looked away shyly. She smiled a bit.

"Hello?" John called, waving his hand in front of the girl's eyes. She blinked a few times, coming back from her daydreams.

"Sorry" she said looking into John's beautiful black eyes, feeling a bit daze "What did you say?"

John chuckled grabbing her cheek. "I was asking your name".

Alice looked around before answering and noticed George wasn't there anymore. "Uh, it's Alice".

"Alice. Like the wonderland one?" John was close. Too close. And the only thing Alice did was shaking her head. John approached and whispered in her ear "Well, you see, it's my favorite book".

Alice felt all and each of her neck and arms hairs. Why was he doing that?

She stepped back. "Excuse me" The lady said and started walking away, leaving a smirking John behind.

She didn't really know where to go, she just knew she needed to find George. And she would find him at the kitchen. Obviously. Since he was a kid that was the place he always hid.

George turned around when he heard Alice's voice. His mouth was fulfilled with tuna sandwich. "Huy, Uli, whuts up" he said, swallowing "What did John said to you?" he leant against the counter.
