Chapter 38 : Say It

Scott openly gawked at Victoria with loving eyes , unable to stop himself from admiring every little flaw that she gracefully possessed . Every little thing that Victoria hated about herself , Scott found undeniably gorgeous and irresistibly beautiful . He was so hopelessly and pathetically in love with her , that she was all he ever thought about , day in and day out . She was his everything and she didn't even realize it yet .

" Thank you . " Tori finally chocked out , breaking the comfortable silence that lingered between the two .

Scott simply nodded his head as he placed a soft kiss on her forehead , comforting her the best way that .he could . There were so many things tori desperately wanted to say to Scott right now but she didn't have the guts to open her mouth . Scott's been by her side since the very first day that they met , and she really did appreciate him . She cared about him so much and she wanted him to know that .

" You don't love Marcus . "

Tori was left utterly confused by Scott's bold words . Her body froze under the confidence and the sureness that laced his velvety voice . She didn't understand where his sudden statement was coming from .

" What ? Of course I - " her sentence was cut short when Scott rudely interrupted her .

" You keep trying to convince yourself that you love him because of what you think you know about him . You think that you and Marcus are alike in more ways than you realize but that's were your wrong ..... He's isn't some harmless little boy whose in need of a savor . No , it isn't that complicated . He's a killer tori , and you of all people should know that .. I mean you have witnessed him turn his emotions completely off and murder someone without even a second thought . "

" B-b-but . " no matter how much she tried , her brain wouldn't allow her to form a complete sentence because even she knew that their was a lot of truth behind Scott's words . Marcus was a killer ... but did that matter to her now ? She wasn't sure .

" Look me in the eyes and tell me that your in love with Marcus . " He commanded .

" Scott .."

" Look . Me . In . The . Eyes . " He spoke slowly through gritted teeth . His voice might of sounded confident and carefree but inside he was terrified . He put his heart on the line , and rejection would surely ruin him .

When their eyes locked , a large lump formed in Tori's throat , preventing her from speaking . She didn't understand why all of a suddenly she could say the words . Her heart hammered against her chest , as she started to loose herself in Scott's breath-taking orbs .

He brushed her hair anyway from her face with his fingers , without breaking eye contact . Weirdly , she felt herself melting into his touch and she wanted no than anything for their lips to meet . As if he was reading her mind , Scott started to lean in . Tori could feel herself blushing furiously , when Scott's warm intoxicating breath , fanned her face teasingly . Butterflies erupted in her stomach , as he felt her heart flutter .

Right when their lips were about to touch , he pulled away with a blank expression on his face . She frowned but didn't say anything . Her heart beat never increased like that , when Marcus kissed her . She never got butterflies when Marcus touched her . She never smiled as much as she had with Scott whenever she was with Marcus . Scott proved his point , and he knew it .

" Say it . " Scott encouraged her , a wide smile slowly spreading across his features . And tori knew exactly what he met .

" I-I .... I love you , Scott . "
