Here's a little sneak peek into the revised version of Kidnapped and Broken from chapter 2. If you're still waiting on the sequel, I suggest you read 'Deranged' first, because the second book won't be based off the original. I'm working on getting Deranged published, and I just want to thank everyone for the support and unconditional love, because lets face it, we all know I think like a psychopath. I first started writing Kidnapped and Broken when I was thirteen, which was a realllllyyy long time ago lmao. I cringe every time I read a chapter from the original version, and I'm almost positive that you all do too. No one should have to go through that, haha. Check out the revised version, because it is soooooo much different from the first book, and beside....I know you miss Marcus. Don't we all?
Btw, this is my last and final A/N EVER!!!! :(

The metal from the barrel glinted brightly into my eyes like a light at the end of a tunnel. The man holding the gun stared at me - just stared. Nothing else, yet I could feel my pulse beating in my ears, blocking out all other sound except the breath that was raggedly moving in and out of my mouth at regular, gasping intervals.
Tearing my eyes away from the man, I started to run toward Kate, but suddenly, a strong arm snaked around my neck and stomach, restraining me.
A loud whimper spilled from my quivering lips, as I thrashed around violently, trying to break free. I fought as hard as I could, but he was just too strong. I yelled as loud as I could in hopes that someone would save us from this nightmare.
The man forcefully knocked Kate to the ground, causing her to fall to her knees in the cold, wet mud. ''Please, stop!'' I closed my eyes, trying to keep myself from crying, but that didn't seem to work.
The man, who was holding the gun, pointed it directly at the back of Kate's head.
"If you scream or try to get away, I'll splatter your best friend's brain all over the ground.'' He chuckled darkly, as he cocked the gun. His voice was deep baritone tone and rough, causing shivers of fear to shoot down my spine. His piercing green eyes glowed like the gleaming vastness of a crystal cerulean as they bored into mine.
