Hiya peoples!! So since the last entry was so epically horrifying, I'm going to write about something fun! And who doesn't like fun??? Well, a lot of people, so if you do...sorry! School has it's down sides AND its perks. For example, pranking a friend. Yelling things into the bathroom. Talking to random people in the halls. So yeah, this is something me and my friends (let's call them Anna and Miya) thought up of. It's one hundred percent true, except for the names and stuff. It was and still is so much fun! Enjoy!
-Mrs. Gosling
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was just a normal morning at Rainbow and Sunshine (not the real name of my school) Middle School, and Mrs. Gosling walked into school. "Today's going to be another flop." She sighed, walking to her locker. "Good locker!" She complimented it when it opened on her first try.
Mrs. Golsing suddenly felt a shadow creeping up on her. She almost screamed as Anna tackled her to the ground. "Yay! I have an excuse for Gym now!" She laughed as Anna helped her up again.
They watched as Miya walked by, head down. "We need to get Miya out of her emo funk." Mrs. Gosling sighed.
"Yeah, but it's Monday. We're hopeless." Anna looked heart broken. Today was not a good day for the girls.
~~~~~~
"Happy birthday, Steven!" Mrs. Gosling called to a kid in the hallway as the girls walked. The boy looked up, surprised. A crowd of on-lookers stormed up to him, clapping and giving him pats on the back. The girls watched as everyone began singing happy birthday. Steven looked bewildered beyond compare.
"It's not Steven's birthday." Anna told Mrs. Gosling.
"I know." She grinned.
Mrs. Gosling and Anna's eyes widen as Miya looks up. "What have you guys done?" She asked, the Monday mood leaving her face.
That was the cue. The thing that started it all. The girls grinned.
~~~~~~
"Happy birthday, Tasha!" Their math teacher called and everyone clapped along with him.
"B-but, Mr. M, it's not my birthday." Tasha blushed.
"Yeah, it is." A kid turned around to say.
The three girls smiled at each other in the room. Had their plan really gotten to the teachers?
"Happy birthday, girl!" Anna came up to give her a present.
Tasha looked shocked, just like when she had gotten the rest of her presents from friends. "It's-it's not my birthday!"
"So modest!" Anna smiled and the class laughed.
Tasha looked around for a minute, and then smiled. Then she laughed, and everyone was laughing. Except for the teacher. He really thought it was her birthday. "Thanks guys!" Tasha smiled.
~~~~~~
And that is how Mrs. Gosling, Miya, and Anna started Happy Birthday Monday. The teachers even thought it was a good idea to get students out of their Monday funk. And on real birthdays, the team makes sure to swing around to the kid and say "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" So it might not make every student happy, but a joyful environment really helps!
Currently, Mrs. Golsing, Miya, and Anna are planning on who the next Birthday person should be. It really gave the team a boost!

So, in other words guys; school isn't that bad. If you choose your attitude, and you choose to have a bad day, go ahead! Usually, though, you have more fun if you pick the good day. See what you're friends and you can do. Even cranky teachers, like my French, can get a big smile on their face with just a simple "thank you." Read my Teachers entry for the kinds of things I have to face. And then see what you can do to turn it into a great day!!! Stay beautiful inside and out peoples!!! :)
