You had just gotten out of class and you were treated to your best friend Algee leaning on the wall across from your classroom you smiled walking towards him falling into his open arms "Last class of the week, thank god! I didn't think I'd make another lecture." You said wrapping around Algee tightly and then you heard them. Every time you and Algee were together there were always whispers around you two about you both "And then you wonder why people think we're dating." Algee said leaning down slightly so only you could hear what he was saying , you laughed and shrugged walking down the corridor with Algee following behind you.
"What's on the agenda today BEST FRIEND." You said emphasizing best friend for anyone who was gawking at you two as you walked down the corridor.
"Yeah? Game Night with Sabrina & Keith." He said confused at you sudden statement. You nodded as you made your way across campus to the girls dormitory, the boys were only allowed there from the strict hours of 9am-9pm any boy found in the dormitory passed that time would be fined and suspended for a week. It's was 7:00pm so you all had a fair amount to play during Game Night, you and Algee walked into the dorms roaming the halls once again hearing all the whispers and snickers and even though it bothered you, you pushed it aside because Algee hated when you became hostile for no true reason.
You reached your room and sighed in pure relief, Algee knew all the comments bothered you so he wrapped his arms around you (Y/N/N), relax it's just gossip and useless rumor to stir so fun in campus." He said rubbing your back softly kissing your forehead "Rumors or not you guys would be such a CUTE couple!" I ship it. (Y/S/N) it sounds cute." Sabrina your roommate and Keith's girlfriend said gushing over you and Algee causing you to roll your eyes.
"Are the games ready?" You asked looking over at the couches to see the consoles laying there waiting to be played with, you all sat on the couches grabbed a console and began to play, 2 hours had passed game night was over and your team had been victorious once again you and Algee high-fived "You two always win, it's adorable." Sabrina said before kissing Keith. "I'll walk you out." You said not wanting to be around Sabrina at the moment, Algee understood that and nodded "Good game today partner." He said hugging you lightly "Always a pleasure." You said looking up at the night sky.
"The night always makes this place seem so peaceful and lovely." You said losing your footing as you walked over to the bench, Algees strong arms caught you "It is beautiful as are you but a fall isn't the best answer to become more beautiful." He said laughing as he picked you up from your near injury "Thank you.. you're truly the best Algee." You said hugging him tightly kissing his cheek making your way back to your dorm "I should get going it's late and I have work in the morning." You said walking with Algee back to the dorms.
"Goodnight (Y/N/N)." He said kissing your forehead as you reached the door to the dormitory "Night Algee." You said walking inside leaving Algee on the porch and in that moment he knew you meant more to him then just his best friend but he couldn't do a thing about it.
