The dreary hospital feels got to me by the third day. Three days of sitting next to the person that raised me, questioning her health and everything I knew, or thought I knew.

The doctors said that it's her choice to wake up, but by the look of it, she doesn't want to. I haven't left her side, or eaten, for three days. My strong walls are slowly starting to crumble as I watch my favorite person's life slowly fade away.

"I don't know if you can hear me or not, but I hope you can hear this." I grabbed her frail hand and placed to on my cheek, "please wake up. For me, for Jackson, find I reason to live. You only get one life and so do it. I want to live my life with you."

Steamy tears were running down my cheeks as I saw her heart rate drop. 100, 67,30,0. The line went flat.

I rest my head on her torso, letting out loud sobs. I didn't call for a doctor; I knew this what she wanted. She didn't want to fight, she wanted fly and I was going to let her fly.

"Hey guys. Today, two weeks ago, I lost someone who I shouldn't have lost. My mother decided to stop fighting and start flying.
