CH.5: The Dramatic Sorry

Verse 65

Ahyan was really feeling bad about his behaviour. But it was not even his fault. He didn't do those things intentionally. But his meetings with Efah were disasters.

He thought something and then went to Zeenat's house.
"Assalamu alaikum Chaachi. Where is Amna" Ahyan asked greeting Zeenat.
"Walaikum assalam beta. She is in her room. Shall I call her?"
"No its all right I'll go to her room." saying Ahyan went to Amna's room.

Reaching Amna's room and giving a knock on the door Ahyan called "Amna, you there?"
"Ahyan bhai. Come" Amna said opening the door and motioning him to come inside the room in a dramatic way.

Ahyan sat on a chair in the room.
"you have really learnt to keep your room clean and your things aligned. Good" Ahyan said looking around the room.

"Bhaaaaaiii are you buttering me. And you came to me just to praise me for this??" Amna asked raising her eyebrows and smiling mischievously.

"you have become really very naughty Amna. Actually there is something you can do for me" Ahyan said. Amna got confused

"I didn't......." and suddenly remembering something she started jumping "Ooooo oooo I got you I got you. You are answering the question I asked you in the party, right??"

"yes but I think so there's nothing to be so excited about it"
"There is brother, there is....ha ha ha"

Ahyan gave Amna a weird expression because she was jumping around the room like a joker.

"Amna will you listen to me or you will keep jumping around"
"okay okay say bhai, I'm listening" saying Amna sat down on the bed.

"can you go and say sorry to Efah on my behalf"

"bhai why don't you say it yourself" Amna said.

"I thought to say it myself but if something happens again because I have already embarrased myself twice. Whenever I meet your sister something or the other happens and that too because of you."

"Because of me.... What did I do??" Amna asked making her eyes wider.

"you only told me all that story about the thief and who told you wear the same colour dress as her."

"I told you, but I did not tell you to lock her up brother. And about the dress it was a coincidence."

"so what will I have to do" Amna asked making a serious face as if she is planning for an important mission.

"just say to Efah that I am sorry for whatever happened" Ahyan said.

"Sure brother, sure. If I get a treat"

"I knew you would say this."
Ahyan pulled her cheeks playfully.
"okay you will get your treat." Ahyan got up and went outside.

Amna entered Efah's house yelling at the top of her voice "Efah aapi, Efah aapi where are you."

Though it had been only few days since Efah came but Amna became too close to her. "hold your horses Amy why are you shouting??" saying Efah came out from the kitchen wiping her hands from the napkin.

"Don't call me Amy" Amna said. She liked people calling her real name.

"okay okay Aaaammmnnnaaa" Efah said dragging her name to tease her.
