Ahyan woke up from the ringing of his phone. It was ringing for the tenth time now.
He was really feeling irritated now.
No matter how good ringtones you set in your phone, you get irritated from it if your phone rings when you are asleep.
Unable to bear the ringtone anymore he took the phone and without even looking at caller's name he picked up the phone.
"Assalamu alaikum bro" came Faiz's loud voice came which was enough to damage his eardrums.
The voice was so loud that it felt Faiz was just an inch or two away from Ahyan.
Ahyan snapped opened his eyes and he saw Faiz sitting near his bed in the couch with a sheepish smile on his face.
Ahyan disconnected the phone and kept it on the table.
"what???" he asked angrily.
Atleast he had the right to be angry. Faiz woke him up from his peaceful sleep.
"what??" Faiz said mimicking him.
"you are sitting right infront of me. So why were you calling me??"
"ohhhh... I was trying to wake you up" Faiz replied shrugging lazily.
"Is the top floor of your brain empty. Why was there a need to call if you were sitting right here?"
"yeah I know, but I found the idea of calling and waking you up, interesting. And good that you woke up because I was planning on putting water on you as my next move." Faiz said smirking.
Faiz and his ideas.
"you know, your ideas are just weird like you" Ahyan said making a face.
"you know, actually the one who is weird here is
you. It's 4'o clock in the evening and you are sleeping." Faiz said making his eyes bigger.
"it's 4. Ya Allah I slept for so long" Ahyan looked at the watch and almost jumped out of the bed and rushed towards the bathroom.
"you were busy in Efah's dream. So you did not bother to wake up" Faiz shouted behind him.
Faiz smiled hearing him. Thankfully he was inside the bathroom by now
so Faiz did not see him.
He had slept at 10 in the morning and now it was 4 in the evening. He didn't know how he slept for so long.
He had gathered all the courage he could to talk to her parents about Efah and the nikah.
Yesterday night his parents informed him that Efah had agreed to the proposal.
Ahyan was very happy but at the same time he doubted whether she had agreed to the proposal on her own or whether she was forced.
And these thoughts kept him awake last night.
So he was feeling very sleepy and slept in the morning at ten.
He freshened up and went to the room. Faiz was doing something in his phone. As soon as he saw Ahyan , he shifted his gaze from the phone towards Ahyan, giving him weird looks.
"what?" Ahyan asked wiping his face from the towel.
"Nothing.... I am just wondering when are you planning to tell me" Faiz said nodding his head up and down and then again got busy in his phone.
