CH.8: Snack Time

The Prophet (PBUH) stated "whoever recites Surah Al-Kahf on Jum'ah will have illumination from one Jum'ah to the next."

Efah got up from the sound of her alarm. It was time for tahajjud. Efah was habituated of praying tahajjud.
She went to the bathroom, made wudhu and prayed tahajjud. She stayed on her place doing tasbeeh and waited for fajr.
After praying fajr, she read Qur'an. This was her daily routine.

She went downstairs to Eshal's room. Toady evening was Eshal's mehendi.
"Aapi are you up" she asked standing out of the door.
"yeah come" came Eshal's voice.

Eshal was sitting on her bed.

"come sit down" Eshal said patting the space beside her on the bed.

"we spent so less time with each other, and now you will go within some days" Efah said. She was feeling bad, she had spent only two weeks with Eshal and now she will be going to her husband's house.

"hmm... Even I'll miss you all. But no worries I'll come to meet you people and specially on your wedding with Ahyan" Eshal winked saying the last part.

Hearing the last part of Eshal's sentence, Efah's facial expressions changed.
Looking at Efah's face Eshal laughed at her.

"don't worry I was just joking" Eshal said.

"aaaaaaapi" Efah said looking at Eshal.

"Efah do you like Ahyan?" Eshal asked out of nowhere only to get a weird look from Efah.

"No aapi. What made you ask such a question?" Efah asked her sister. She was really confused as why was her sister was talking about Ahyan. She didn't had any feelings for him.

 Moreover she was not that type of girl who would fall in love with someone so easily. 'Love' was something that she had never imagined for herself as how it would be.

"it's because I have been noticing Ahyan lately, the way he looks at you and all. I think something is there in his mind." Eshal told Efah. 

Eshal had noticed Ahyan during her haldi, she had found Ahyan's gaze on Efah everytime she saw him.
Though the men were in the other house, and Eshal's haldi ceremony was in Zafar's house. Ahyan was not there all the time but if he came there for some work, his eyes were glued to Efah.

Efah could not reply to what Eshal said. So she changed the topic "aapi you must be hungry, shall I bring something for you?" Efah asked.

"Awwww you are such a lovely sister of mine" Eshal said and hugged Efah.

"I'll miss you all, I wish dad would be here" Eshal said without breaking the hug. Her eyes welled up with tears.
Efah's hold got tighter on Eshal when Eshal said those words. Efah was trying hard to stop the tears which were threatening to fall down anytime.

"would you like to include your mother sweet hearts?" came Amber's voice who was standing with tears in her eyes seeing both her daughters.
She went and hugged both of them.

Zaid and Ahyan were busy from the very morning. They were not at home. They had to arrange everything for Eshal's nikah.

Saima was not there because she had already gone to her house the next day
after the haldi ceremony.
She made some excuse to Samiya and went, saying that she will be coming to attend Eshal's marriage with her mother. She came to stay here till Eshal's marriage but she wanted to go home as soon as possible after she saw both Ahyan and Efah together in the garden. She had planned something.
