Chapter 4
I woke up warm. Then all of a sudden the warmth was gone and I heard cute giggling.
"Get up sleepy head we have school." Amanda said.
"Ok let me get dressed." I said and yawned
"Oh you can stay in your pjs. I am home schooled and so are you now." she smiled a adorable smile. I smacked myself again.
We walked down stairs. I really didn't know where I was going so I held Amanda's warm hand. I shook my head getting the thought out of my mind.
"Just wonderin, how old are you?"
"12" she smiled proud of it. I nodded and we kept walking.
"Good morning you two." Amanda's mom said, I figured out her name is actually Mrs.John.
"Good morning" we both said in unison. She handed us pancake hearts. another tear fell but I quickly wiped it away.
After eating slowly Mrs.John yelled from the computer room.
"School time!!"
"Lets go Kev." Amanda said. I had a confused look on my face and she could tell.
"Is it ok if I call you that?" she asked all perky
"As long as I can call you Amy"
"Amy?" she asked
"Best I could come up with." I laughed and she joined in she placed a quick kiss on my cheek and ran off to the computer room.
We started school. It was so much fun!!! Amy was always cracking jokes. after 5 hours of school we were done.

2 MONTHS LATER

We woke up and did our usual routine.
First one up yanks the blankets off the other. Then we tickle eachother. After the tickling war we eat breakfast fast and race eachother to the bathroom to brush our teeth. We have become brother and sister but... uhh I have closer feelings then that. I know I'm only 12 but I'm almost 13!!!
One morning I realized something and I had to ask,
"I'm sorry but I've been wondering something." I said
"Anything honey" Mrs.John has become the mother I've always wanted
"Where is Mr.John?" I ask with tears already in my eyes.
"Mr.John i-is dead. He got a severe case of cancer." she said. Tears rolled down my eyes, I felt as though my own father died. I looked at Amy she was crying too. I grabbed her in a close hug we cried into eachothers shoulders. the rest of the day was a blur. It felt as though I was stabbed in the back.
