John was sitting in his room talking to his pet turtle. He was thinking about Alexander. About the way his hair fell perfectly on his shoulders. He wanted desperately to see him again. He just didn't know how. Laf walked into his room and just stood there smiling. "What?"
"You my friend are in love. I can see it in your face. "
"Lafayette you are crazy. How can I be in love? I just met him. "
"I do not know. I can just..... feel it."
"Whatever. I'm going out. I'll be back soon." Laurens walked out of the dorm and went to a bookstore near by. He liked this bookstore. It was quite and had tuns of books that fascinated him. He was just wandering around and saw a book he thought would be interesting. He pulled it off the shelf and read the back. When he went to put it back he saw a person on the other side of the shelf. It was Hamilton. Laurens quickly put the book back. This was it. He could talk to Hamilton alone. But what would he say? Laurens walked around the bookshelf to the side that Hamilton was on. He was looking down at his feet when he bumped into something. Rather, someone. "Oh. I am so sorry. I wasn't looking and-" Laurens looked up and realized that he had run into Hamilton. Hamilton just smiled. "No it's perfectly alright. I'm glad to see you again." Hamilton was glad to see me? That was strange. Laurens thought Hamilton didn't like him after he left so quickly this morning. "Oh. Hi. Hamilton. What-what are you doing here?" Laurens couldn't think of anything else to say. Hamilton chuckled a little bit. "I was looking for a book. This is a bookshop." That was true. It was a bookshop. Laurens felt stupid for asking. Laurens tried to be casual and lean against the bookcase but he misjudged how far he was from it and almost fell. Luckily Hamilton grabbed his arm and pulled Laurens close to him. "Are you okay?" Hamilton put his hand in Laurens' hair. Laurens practically melted at Hamilton touch. He looked straight into Hamilton's eyes and blushed. "Never been better." Hamilton let go of Laurens and blushed. "Sorry.... your hair just looked so soft and I-" Laurens rushed over and hugged Hamilton. "You're fine" Laurens said into Hamilton's shirt. Laurens let go of Hamilton. "Sorry." Hamilton pulled a napkin out of his pocket and found a pen and scribbled something on the napkin. He handed it to Laurens. "Call this number tonight and we can talk more." Hamilton smiled mysteriously and walked out of the bookstore. Laurens was dumbfounded by what had just happened. He had Hamilton's number and he had hugged Hamilton. How would he tell Laf? Should he tell him? He would figure it out later. Laurens went back to his dorm.
