“What did you do?” Sam spoke seething with anger; I looked up at him confused. He went forward and pushed passed the boy who looked dumbfounded and laid me on the couch that was just inside the doors. Sam charged back out of the house and to the boy while, Emily came out and rushed over to me squeezing me in one of her Emily hugs.
“Oh sweetie” she breathed pulling back and cupping my tear stained face. “Its all going to be okay. You are going to live with us now” She spoke reassuringly,
‘”Thank you Emily” I said hugging her again, I have always admired Emily’s beauty inside and out. I wished I saw her more before all this.
“Anything you want hon just let me know” she spoke looking into my eyes before looking outside and observing what was happening, I looked out too and saw Sam yelling at the boy and the boy pleading with him.
*JACOB’S POINT OF VIEW”
I heard Sam coming from the distant turned but as I turned my eyes locked on the girl he was carrying, I remembered him saying that that’s his cousin and that she’s staying with them now. I looked closer at her and at that moment my vision was in a haze. The other boys conversations were not audible anymore. Nothing mattered except for her and my heart hurt as I felt the pain she was feeling. I had to be the one to fix what she was feeling. Her long, brown curly hair fell down off Sam’s arms and seeing her light, light blue eyes crying out tears made me want to fall to me knees. Her soft pink lips quivering in pain made me want to take her out of Sam’s arms and hold her tight. Wait what was happening? My mouth fell open.
Oh my god…did I just imprint?
That was exactly what sam said before taking my imprint inside and charging back out.
“You have got to be kidding me?!” he seethed through gritted teeth,
“Sam im sorry! You know I have no control over this” I pleaded, he realised this and backed away before coming back at me.
“You will not hurt her!” he started not breaking the stare we held, “She has been through enough! You will not hurt her! If you do so god help me!” he warned,
“Sam I would never dream of hurting her” I spoke calmly still not breaking the stare. He backed off, “What is her name?”
“Her name is Aria” he said looking down,
“What happened?” I asked looking inside and seeing Emily and Aria staring at me, she looked so innocent so hurt and it killed me inside,
“Her father killed her mother” he told me upfront, I was taken back and surge of anger shot through me. I started shaking uncontrollably,
“He what?!” I breathed out through violent shakes,
“Jacob calm down” Sam warned but I couldn’t, I ran off into the woods and shifted into my wolf form running violently through the trees.
*ARIAS POINT OF VIEW*
Sam walked in after the boy ran off into the woods. I wonder why he was so angry.
“Sam what happened?” Emily asked from next to me,
“Oh he just got a bit worked up, he’s fine now” Sam said with a smile trying to comfort us both, “Emily can I see you in the kitchen please?” he spoke and Emily got up right away. I couldn’t hear what they were saying but judging from Emily’s sudden gasp, it was something unexpected. Sam came back in and sat beside me,
“Are you okay Aria?” he said looking directly into my eyes. I had to think about this, am I okay? After seeing the boy I so desperately want to know more about, I finally feel life in this lifeless body.
“Im doing okay” I spoke truthfully, “Sam?”
“Yeah” he said waiting for my question,
“How long was I out for?” I asked desperately wanting to know the answer,
“Uh about four days” he said,
“Oh wow” I breathed out, “What happened?”
“Well uh, we got you some medical help. Apparently he broke two of your ribs and your face was just cut up” he spoke honestly,
“oh my god” I said a tear falling down my face, “How am I all fine now?” the thought popping back into my head.
“Well, I believe you have some of our wolf gene in you which means you heal faster than any human” he said. I thought about this for a while before another un answered question came,
“What happened to her body?” I whispered, Sam knew I would ask this and is hurting too as my mother was his Aunty,
“Uh the police came and seized her body” he said truthfully,
“And you don’t know where Ross is?” I asked, he shook his head and looked down.
“Thank you” I said giving him a small hug,
“Im here for you” Sam spoke hugging back.
“Is it okay if I go up and have a sleep?” I asked and he nodded. I walked up the stair and into my new room. I closed the door and slid down on it. A few tears slid down but I refused to cry out for the pain this monster had caused.
From this moment on, I will be strong.
