Chapter 11

After finishing their pancakes Dan said, "Eventually I will seduce you and you won't be able to resist me."

Phil just smiled. "Dan, let's take it slow. If we take it slow, the first time will be more magical."

"Fine. I call bottom."

"Whatever you want. I love you."

"I love you too."

"Promise me you won't ever cut again."

"I promise."

They held hands across the table.

"Now, Dan, do you want to make a video?" Phil asked.

"I thought you said you wanted to take it slow." Dan replied smiling.

"Not that kind of video, you dumb dumb. A YouTube video."

"We should tell our subscribers 'Phan' is real."

"I don't know if we should make our relationship public yet..." Phil said and he remembered the time he came out to his dad.

"Dad, I need to tell you something," said 16 year old Phil. He was sitting next to his mum. She held his hand. "What is it, son?" His dad said. His dad was sitting in his chair that nobody else was allowed to sit in. "Dad, I'm bi. I like boys and girls..." Phil hoped he wouldn't be kicked out of the house. "Go to your room." Phil's dad said sadly. Phil walked to his room and heard his dad start crying. Phil packed his things and left, leaving a note on his bed. The note said:

I'm very sorry that I have made
you sad. I'm going to get my own
flat and job. If you want to call me
you can. I'm also dropping out of
school for now. I will get my GED
later. I'm sorry that I'm such a
disappointment.

Phil

He told Dan the story.

Dan said, "I'm very sorry Phil. Our subscribers won't be like that though. They want us to be together. We might get some hate, but that's okay. We'll be okay, I promise."

Phil then said, "Okay. I trust you. Just wondering, how did you come out? How did your dad react?

Dan replied saying, "I came out as gay very easily. My mum was very nice about it. I just came home one day and said 'Mum, I like boys' and she said 'I figured.' My dad.... My dad..."

"If you can't tell me, you don't have to."

"No, I want to," Dan sighed, "My dad... killed himself when I was 3. It's still hard to talk about. He was such a loving Dad, but he had depression and anxiety. I got it from him. I'm sure he would have been fine with it, but I'll never know."

"Dan I'm so sorry," Phil said, and he hugged Dan.

After a while, Dan pulled away and said, "Ready to make that video?"

"Yup!" Phil said, smiling.

They set up the camera and the lights. After pressing record, they both said, "Phan is real!"

After making the video, they uploaded it. Most of the comments were great!

You cured my depression with this video!!

I KNEW IT!!!!!

YAY!!!

Dan and Phil spent all night looking through all the good comments, and deleting the bad ones. They both fell asleep with the laptop on their laps.
