Something unexpected

Chapter four

"Did you song?!" Rose squeals as she sits on Albus's bed listening to his story.
"What? No," Albus says.
"Why?" Scorpius furrows his brows as he lays down on Rose, his head in her lap.
"I wanted him to," Albus admits feeling a bit embarrassed.
"C'mon mate," Scorpius rolls his eyes,"you should've grabbed him by the face and kissed him."
"You're missing the point," Albus rolls his emerald green eyes,"we cuddled the rest of the night and I woke up with his arms around me," Albus blushes a bit as he tells his friends.
"So," Scorpius pauses for a quick second and says quickly," are you gay then? If you are Al you're still my best mate."
"Obviously I'm still your best mate," Albus says with his hand son his hips as he folds his clothes,"nobody else likes you." He jokes.
"So...you are?" Rose asks as she plays with Scorpius's pale blonde hair.
"I think," Albus says,"I figured once I've kissed him I'll know." Albus tells them in deep thought.
Rose nods in approval and then gets up after Scorpius does,"well," she sighs," I think it's time I told my dad of me and 'the filthy malfoy'," Rose smiles," I'm writing to mom."
Albus raises his eyebrows," you're telling Uncle Ron?!"
"Everyone else knows about us so why not my parents," Rose says co fife t but Albus could tell she was nervous. She takes Scorpius's hand and walks out of the dorm with her face trembling.

Albus didn't really know what he and Nikoli were but he didn't have the confidence to ask. He didn't want to ruin something so perfect. He loved the easy talks and tight hugs.
"What are you taking photos of?" Nikoli asks as he sits by the lake looking out into the distance. His strong arm was around Albus's shoulders as Albus caught sight of a beautiful image.
"See that space in the sky-" Albus points to the sky where there's an orange light between the fluffy evening clouds,"-it'd look brilliant in my photo book."
Nikoli watches Albus take pictures and can't help but smile,"you're cute," he mumbles not being able to control his mouth. Surprised Albus looks over at him and feels the corners of his mouth form into a smile and he continues to take pictures of the beautiful sky. "Al," Nikoli catches his attention again,"would you want to come to my tournament? I know you usually do for the school newspaper but," Nikoli stopped as Albus turned back to him.
"Of course," Albus nods his head,"I was already planning to go." Nikoli smiles at Albus's answer and he nods his head. "Nikoli would you want to go back to your dorm?" Albus asks as he starts to feel goosebumps on his arms.
"Yeah," Nikoli nods his head and then takes off his jacket and hangs it over Albus's shoulders. Albus looks up at him and kisses his cheek quickly and blushes not knowing what came over him. Nikoli looks down at him and smiles realizing how much he liked this artsy, crazy-haired, green-eyed boy.
Albus looked back up at him once he felt his deep blue eyes off of him and frowned looking at his neck. Welts and scars fill it and he can't help but stare at them. How did they get there? He didn't want to ask; he didn't want to be rude. He figured if it were important Nikoli would tell him.
Once they got back to his dorm Nikoli laid on the bed and motioned for Albus to lay on top of him. Doing as he was told, Albus lays literally on top of him and started to laugh as Nikoli played with his pitch black hair. His fingers circled through Albus's curls and he smiled against Nikoli's chest. His green eyes met with his blue eyes and Albus leaned in and kissed him but only for a moment until he realized what he had done and he pulled back. "Sorry," was all he managed to say. Nikoli bit his lip and shook his head wanting more but didn't want to force it. Albus smiled to himself, he liked it. He wanted more. So he kissed him but this time harder.

"So you're gay then," Lucy smiles as she braids her frizzy strawberry blonde hair.
"Yeah," Albus smiles thinking of that night.
"What happened after wards? You're holding out on us you bloke," Rose throws a pillow at Albus.
"Did you go all the way?" Lucy's deep brown eyes gleam as she takes off her heart eyed sunglass.
"All the way? No Lucy," Albus says as he sits up,"we just snorted for a long while. Honestly though," he feels his face grow hot,"it felt like two seconds when it was really two hours."
"Is it different kissing a boy from a girl?" Lucy asks chewing her bubblegum.
"well," Albus squints his eyes thinking,"he didn't shave so his face was rough with stubble-"
"There's girls that have stubble," Rose uttered with a smile on her face.
"Would you like me to talk or would you like to tell jokes?" Albus raids his eyebrows annoyed with his cousin.
"Talk! Talk?" Rose laughed as Lucy braided her bushy orange hair.
"Everytime I snogged a girl it was gentle but this was different." Albus says remembering the way Nikoli forced himself over him,"there's so,etching about kissing someone who's bigger than you," he explains to the two curious girls,"I didn't have to hold back because he was stronger than me. He was rough," he paused and watched as Lucy's eyes grew wide," but not in a mean way. In a sexy way."
"Wow," Lucy mummers,"it sounds lovely."
"So was sparks flying and music swelling through your ears?" Rose asks Albus and then states,"that how it was when I first kissed Scorpius."
"It was like ice cream," Albus softly says. Lucy and Rose make a face at each other and then look at Albus for an explanation,"it was like I was eating frozen yogurt my entire life and had my first bit of ice cream."
"Do you understand how cool you sound?" Rose smiles at him,"you're not even blushing you just have this smirk on your face." Albus nodded knowing exactly what she was talking about. He always smirked when he felt confident and he felt, finally, confident in his own skin.
"So are you two dating?" Lucy asks after mumbling 'wow' for a couple of minutes.
"I don't exactly know," Albus says not really worried about it,"all I know is I like being with him."
