After Renzo made his rounds, he slipped into his office without saying as much as a word. I had to keep my professionalism. I had two young ladies watching my every move and I had a hard exterior that I had to keep. But the events of yesterday kept playing over and over in my mind.
"So now that we have gotten those mini meetings out of the way, between now and the end of the month, I get the reports and I'll let you girls have the opportunity to condense them." Aly said as she sat at her desk. She motioned for the girls to sit on the other side.
"Um... Alyssa," Sandra began, "How difficult is it working here. I mean... being a personal assistant and all."
Without missing a beat and checking the rest of Renzo's schedule Aly smiled as she thought of her response. "It's all about cohesion with your boss. I don't think my job is difficult at all. Yes, there are days where I have to be here until midnight to make sure that he gets his job done perfectly, not just for him, but for the benefit of the company. When he is happy, the company is happy and my bank account is ecstatic. Let us not forget balance. I have my life and he has his life as well. I am not a robot and he is not a tyrant."
Sandra and Amanda nodded at the response.
"We live in world where there is the cliché of the boss and his secretary and the boss and his personal assistant. We are adults, things happen, but it would be irresponsible who we allow that to hamper our duties." Aly looked up at the two young ladies. "You both are very beautiful and from your resumes, very intelligent. I won't tell you to never use your beauty to you advantage, but always make sure your intelligence is never too far behind. Beauty fades, and there's only so much surgery can do. But your intelligence goes with you to your grave."
"She's absolutely correct ladies," Renzo said with a smirk. "When you have to work closely with someone you never know what will happen." He said shrugging before he walked behind of Aly's desk. "Speaking of closely..." he said in a husky whisper right at her ear, "I need new Egyptian cotton sheets and a new mattress since someone soaked them."
Sandra and Amanda eyes shot open as wide as soup bowls as Renzo made his way back to his office. They looked straight at Aly who would have been as red as a tomato if it wasn't for her chocolate brown skin.
"I hope I get a boss like that in the future!" Amanda said breaking the silence. The three of them couldn't help but laugh at what had just happened.
Aly just smile. Usually she would have freaked out at such a blunt statement but she just blushed and let it go as her body felt heated with just his presence. Renzo made her feel relaxed and loose. He made her think realistically at life. They were both undoubtedly attracted to each other. Anyone could see that. For once in her life she just wanted to go with the flow, and she knew just exactly was going to help her.
Her cellphone buzzed and took her out of her thoughts. It was from Abena, telling her where they were going to go for lunch.
"Sandra, Amanda, how about we go to lunch on me?" Aly said with a smile.
They were shocked. "Really?" They both asked rather confused.
Aly grabbed her bag and started always out. "Sure, why not? Both of you aren't going to be here for much longer, and I need to know that you can handle all situations well. I can't sign off on a recommendation if I don't exactly know you, now can I? And I'm what? Two years older than you two? Relax." She said with a smile as they walked to the elevator.
"Wait... you're twenty-four?" Sandra shouted. "No way! I thought you were at least thirty something. Not that you look it, but you act the part really well."
Aly smiled as she saw the doors open and they got off. "I take my job very seriously, but I realized that I should take my youth just as seriously too."
"Is that why you and Mr. DeSouza are..." Amanda asked lowly.
Aly laughed, "That is a whole other ball game that not even I'm sure about. Come on let's go. And I'll introduce you to someone else who doesn't really match the way they look."

Author's Note:
This is just a nice little filler to introduce Aly's new outlook on life. She's dick-ma-tized and hasn't even gotten the D yet. Renzo got game!
Song of Choice: Lollipop by Lil Wayne ft. Static Major. Self-explanatory. There's something coming.
