Chapter 27. oh

Adriana's POV

"Water we going to do?", James asked. "Did you just?", Ashley said laughing realizing he made a pun.

"Guys, focus! We need to stop her plan", I shouted. "And how exactly are we going to do that?", asked me Chandler with a smirk. That boy is going to be the end of me.

"She's going to start some sort of disease or something in each state....for each state it's different, so we have to send different people to different states", I noted. "How do you know that", Cloie asked. "The other day, I had a dream where something like this happened", I responded back.

"So who do we send and who stays to try and defeat her?", Ashley spoke up.

"Well, they're are many wielders coming here so we just have to send them", I said while looking around and seeing many with suits on and using their powers.

"So we need 10 of us to stay", Chandler said as he put his arm around my shoulder.

"And those ten will be Ashley, Chandler, Colby, Cloie, Me, Delaine, Alyssa, and 3 more people that are in our class", I grinned.

"Now, we have to assign states to each person, 5 people per state", James explained.

Looking around I saw a group of 10 people chatting and trying out their powers. "Hanah, Amber, Veronica, Tanner, and Daniel, you guys go to back to South Carolina and stop the disease from spreading from the capital, Columbia", I commanded them and they nodded. I watched as they left towards their destination.

"Can I assign a group?", Ashley pleaded. "Fine".

"Ok, uhh, Katherine, Autumn, Lily, Julia, Haylee, you guys go to uh Florida!", Ashley cheered while the girls wooed.

"Now, Cade, Tylar, Ethan, Troy, and Emily (other Emily), you guys go to Georgia", I said trying to sound excited.

After about 30 minutes later we finished sending almost everyone to a state. "What if they die!?", Ashley asked while shaking my shoulders violently.

"Calm down", I told her. She stopped and sat down with her head down.

"Are you sad because-", Colby teased, "SHUT UP", Ashley shouted at him angrily as her hair caught on fire.

"Where is that whore?", I said muttered. "Adriana, since when do you say those type of things?", teased me Delaine.

I glared at her and looked around the place, in the distance I could see Coraleen glowing in a white light, her skin getting a pinkish tint.

"Let's go", Colby spoke up.

Ashley's POV

"Oh my", I whispered when I went around the city. Tons of people, dead on the streets, rotting. It was so disgusting and sad to see this and knowing I could have done something.

I got closer to an alley when I heard a girl sobbing. It was Kaitlynn and in her arms was James, his skin blue.

Beside them was Chad doing some sort of chant that was in spanish.

I understood it of course but I was too distracted with the sight of James dying.

I knew I couldn't help, I'm fire and he's water.

I ran the other direction and bumped into Winston and Maddy.

"Hey lovebirds", I teased. "Shut up", the both said at the same time.
