One Mistake

Chapter.2 What's going on?

James POV

I started freaking out. There was a fire starting on my desk but I looked beside me and there sat a girl with long dark brown hair well at least that's what I thought BECAUSE SHE WAS ON FIRE.

I tried to grab the fire and the whole class gasped at me, but it felt right. Water bursted from my hands and put the fire out. Strangest thing was that not one thing was wet or burned.

The whole class stared at me with shock, but the girl who caused the fire grabbed my arm and tried setting it on fire but she failed. I looked her in the eye and knew that this girl was Ashley.

I heard Ms.Taylor scream but cover her mouth as quickly as she could before someone came in to see what was going on.

''Spill, what is going on!'', yelled Cloie .'' I have water powers and she has fire powers and were immune to each other!'', I yelled back but as if she was forcing me to. She realized it too I guess because she started cupping her mouth.

I heard screams behind me because my classmates had powers. Not like technology related powers but real powers. I saw Chandler shape shifting into different animals and Wyatt next to him shifting into different people!

Alyssa was literally flying like super girl and laughing as she picked up Chandler by his shoulders and flew him around the room. My throat felt very dry considering I have water powers but all this going on is making me stress. 

On the other side of the room I saw Ava but then she disappeared into a shadow and reappeared on the other side of me. I yelped as she stared at me in horror.

''GUYS! There's a reason why we have these powers!'', shouted Ashley. ''How do you know that huh?'', asked a boy in the front. '' Because I have an envelope, that's why'', she said as she stared at Colby with anger. The whole room payed attention as she opened the envelope in golden paper. She started reading and by her expression you could tell whatever it said, it wasn't good.
