Ashley's POV
I woke up with the biggest headache I have had this week and i've had a lot. My mom called me to get ready for my first day at Jupiter High. Seemed to have a legit name. I was relieved there was no uniform, instead you could wear what you want.
When I lived around here it seemed like a boring place but it looks like things have changed the four years I was gone. I had gone to a fancy art school and it sure did get me inspired but at the same time I missed my family and friends who lived here. My parents decided to move back which wasn't much of a problem to me, I felt comfortable here.
It was my first day of school and I was feeling a bit hot but that was just stress but I felt as if wearing long sleeves to school wasn't a good idea.
I read my schedule and my first period class was 'English'. Just perfect, my favorite subject well at least the only one I get good grades in. When I found my classroom I got prepared, who knows a cute guy could be in my class; NO, focus no boys or no future and I honestly liked the second choice better. I walked into my classroom and saw one of my old teachers Ms. Taylor.
I saw her smiling at me. Of course I smiled back.
First person I saw when I walked through the door was my old friend Ava, talking to, what was his name?; I think Colby. As my eyes wandered around the room I saw very familiar faces. That was when i realized my whole sixth grade homeroom class was here.
I started to freak out inside, I don't know why I just got a bad feeling about all of this. '' HEY ASH'', I heard someone yell out, it was one of my old friends Delaine . She was a cool person, I always admired her for being confident and positive unlike me. Next to her smiling brightly was Alyssa, the smartest girl in class from what I remember, I was always jealous of her for being so smart but other than that she was sweet.
I realized I was just standing there awkwardly while the class started staring. I immediately sat down in the first desk at the front by a boy that was looking out the window. I looked back at the rest of the class and they were all happy to see me? I would miss me too if i had to be honest.
''I can't believe you're back!'' I heard a girl shout behind me as she gave me a hug from behind. It scared me so bad I kinda set the desk on fire, my bad....
