For a while I waited in the tree to make sure Freebell was safe enough. From what I could tell this was a horse ranch with competitive riders and laid back trail horses. This place was also really secluded except for people who lived here and the students, not to mention the occasional horse salesmen. The only other animals on the ranch were dogs, cats, cows, chickens, and goats. After stalking about for a few days I made up my mind, I was staying. My only problem, how was I getting in?

After pondering for about ten more minutes I knew what I should do.

I shifted into a horse when I got on the ground. I looked at my features I had the same light blonde hair as my human hair and light skin with slight spots all over my face and body like freckles all over me. I started walking around to feel my horse legs since I've never shifted into this before. When I shift into something new I tingle all over and nearly pass out but after I got used to it I can withstand the tingling and nausea. It took me at least forty minutes for me to get the basic speeds down without falling, but hey it made my plan better. My plan is to seem like an abandoned horse. To make this seem more realistic, I rolled around in some dirt and stomped my hooves in mud, also I rubbed my mane on a tree and swished my tail a lot. In the end it looked like I just came out of the deepest darkest part of these woods. I waited one more hour to think through my plan while getting used to eating grass in a clearing.

After what seemed like forever, I finally ran out of the clearing and toward the stable. A trainer with light brown hair and blue eyes came out trying to calm me saying "Easy now" and "Woah" as I reared and bucked. After a while I decided to calm down and she grabbed my head gently and blew in my nostrils. Her breath was minty and weird. But strangely I calmed down. "Hannah? Will you get me a halter?" she asked smoothly. Within seconds a woman with dark brown hair and light pants with a neon blue shirt came out of the barn with several halters. After trying on a green, pink ,and brown halter, they finally found the halter that fits, the blue one.

"Thanks Hannah." the woman said calmly.

"Oh no problem Heather." and with that Hannah walked away. After standing in the drive for a few more seconds, we finally walked into the building the roof was tall and there were students roaming in a hurry with their horses. To the left there were two horses being washed and two empty wash sections to my right. All throughout the barn there was saddle stands by stalls with tangled up tack and various items. Today seemed so busy, of course it could always be like this. we got to the end of the barn and I was placed into a wide stall with a half door to look over and fresh shavings on the ground with food and water in the corners. "There you go, girl the vet will be here tomorrow to see you, and expect lots of attention from the riders here. Its been a while since we've had a wild horse come in." Heather mumbled.

Ok thanks for the warning. I said in my head.

----------------------1 hour later----------

"Heather! Why did you bring that horse here?!"

"She needed us dad who knows what could've gotten her out there, wolves, mountain lions? We can't just sell her who knows where she will end up!"

"Well we can't just keep a horse who won't earn its stay. Either you find a good use for that horse or the people we sell her to will." Lots of footsteps followed and an angry man stormed past me. Sell me? Sell me? What am I a toy? I know horses get bought and sold but this is ridiculous. "I'm so sorry, girl."Heather weeped by my stall. "Its not over though I will find a way to make you stay weather through jumping, dressage, steeple chase, barrel racing, you will have a home here. I promise. You better get some sleep now you have a busy day tomorrow, good night girl."
