Beauty and the Beast is about accepting the person for who they are. Not just on the outside but the inside as well. But in the world of muggles and wizards no one was able to see past their own noses. Sad but true. But that was then and this is now. They are much more accepting of each other than back then. Our story takes place long before the great Wizard vs. Muggles war, that forced the wizards to go into hiding.
Back in the year 1808, is when this story takes place. This was the time when kings and queens ruled among us, weather magical or not. Located in the south corner of France was a kingdom known as the kingdom of Hogwarts. Everyone in the world knew there were witches and wizards in the world, none seemed too fazed. Everyone got along and saw each other as friends. But that wasn't the case in some places.
In this kingdom, purebloods reign supreme. And none are more extreme then prince Draco Malfoy. Both parents died leaving him in charge and that wasn't necessary a good thing. He was the most ruthless and cold hearted person in the land. He hated muggles more than anything in the world. He saw them as worthless trash and nothing would change that, or so he thought.
He longed to have them work at his feet. He taxed his people really high so that he could pay for his lavish parties he threw every month. Sometimes it was to try to find a wife, sometimes it was just to have fun, and sometimes it was just because he can. He loved his life. But he secretly, buried deep down, something he always wanted but couldn't have. That was until she came rolling into the village.
